have to say that i agreed with sending suzie home. suzie reminds me of one of the nastier kind of basketball game half time dancer.
i thought the 3 men who ended up in the bottom were the ones that needed to be there:however it was a toss up as to which of them would go home. |

I forgot to watch the results show! :(

I was amazed at the negativity of the judges this week. Usually, I agree with the negative things they say, but it was overboard! I think they are trying to get viewers riled up to call in for their favorites.
I am usually a big fan of the choreography, but the Mandy Moore piece by Chelsea and Thayne was weird and choppy. I'm glad they didn't get sent home for it. Susie and Marqius' salsa was flat and SAD. I think they deserved to go home. And if Kherington and is barefoot again next week, she is getting sent to the bottom of my list. |

Mia only knows how to bitch or proclaim her love. There's no in between with her. This season, though only two weeks in, has not lived up to the previous three seasons. If it wasn't for Twitch I don't think I'd be that invested in the season.

Is it just me or does Nigel seem like more of a pervert than ever and really offensive?
He leers at the female dancers in a gross way. It just really puts me off. He also says things that I take as very homophobic. Him grabbing his crotch Wednesday night was just REPULSIVE!!! Where's the bleach for my eyes????? After saying that, I loved the Shane Sparks group routine. I thought the 4 featured dancers (3 guys and 1 girl) were incredible. I'd like to see more choreographed dances like that! |
i was wondering if nigel is trying to appear "hip"? no matter, someone definately needs to have one of those "act your age, please" discussions with him.

I didn't get to watch tonight! I'm in class when it's on and our DVR seems to have a vendetta against the show. In regards to last week, though:
Mia's judging is beginning to get on my nerves. I recognize that she is a very accomplished woman, and I have a lot of respect for her as a professional and a choreographer, but I think she can be narrow-minded in her reviews and sometimes lacks the ability to recognize creativity unlike her own. Also, I must say that she ALWAYS starts by talking about how much she enjoyed the choreography- very well, the choreographers do incredible work and certainly deserve recognition, but it gets to sounding like a broken record with her. I'm not really sure what to make of Nigel's personality this season... while it is nice to see the more human side of him sometimes, I think it can also border on over-the-top and unnecessary. I agree that Susie and Marquis had to go, but I wish Rayven had been given another week. As a classically trained dancer, I was thrilled to finally see some ballet representation on the show. However, I was disappointed that a major factor in her being cut seemed to be that she wasn't en pointe. Granted, I wasn't that impressed with her solo, but I would have preferred to see Jessica gone. I haven't been that impressed with the solos on the whole this year, particularly some of the contemporary solos; I really hate when dancers get "tricksy" and put basic technique on the back burner, and when there is no musicality or dynamic to the dancing. Marquis' solo looked as if it was choreographed to silence and he threw the music in at the last minute. All in all, I'm interested to see how the season develops. I don't really have a clear favorite like I did last year, but I must say Katee is growing on me a lot more than I thought she would. I was unimpressed with her attitude during the final stage of auditions, and I think she holds back a bit sometimes in her dancing, but there is something about her that is great to watch. End novel... can't wait to catch up on tonight's episode! |
Tonight was the first time I watched it in its entirety, and not just when Chelsie and Mark were on.
HO-LY WOW. OMFG. I seriously thought, "oh no, this can't be good because old girl's got a cap cocked to the side." -- I was not expecting that. None of the couples were even close...thank goodness for DVR because I had to watch it all over again! I don't know what it is about Contemporary Dance, but it just always seems to make me want to stick a pencil in my eye. |
Nigel abused the man tan and Just For Men!

My Top Three Last Night:
1. Gev and Courtney 2. Chelsie and Mark 3. Twitch and Kherrington Bottom Three Predictions: 1. Chelsea and Thayne 2. Comfort and Chris 3. Will and Jessica Jessica and Chris go home leaving Comfort to partner with Will. |
I'm so excited about this season!! Twitch is from my hometown, and we attended the same church for years. I remember him coming home and doing a praise dance for one of the church plays. I'm thrilled to see him doing big things!! GO Team Twitchington!! lol
I also love Will, Josh, and Chelsea T. Hope she and Thayne don't get sent to the bottom three. I thought Nigel was being a punk for telling them to get their solos ready...dang! |
I was so excited with last night's show...I LOVED each routine!!
Even though Doriana's disco was supposed to "highlight" Jessica, I thought Will completely oushined (outshone?) her! He's just incredible to watch. And I think I might be developing a little crush on Josh. I ♥ his booty, cheeks, dimples, braces and eyes....he's such a cutie! I think Chelsie H. is a doll! Such a good dancer....and it was even better to hear that when she's not all girlified onstage, that she's a total boy! lol Oh, and Courtney G. is moving into my list of favorites! Gev's crush on her is so adorable! |
