It turns out that the start of Convention is the last day of school for my kiddies. Since it is a minimum day and Registration lasts from 1 - 6 pm, I'm as soon as my last student is gone, I'm leaving work and going to pick up another sister, and we're hitting Convention. YAY!

I think we'll be at the hotel somewhere between 2:30 and 3 pm. I'm so excited. I wish it was June already...well almost. :):D;):p

ETA: BOTH my initiation chapter and my alumnae chapter are hosting reunions. I haven't decided yet if I want to go to any of the reunions. If I do decide, I'll end up going to the reunion luncheon of my chapter of initiation, Gamma Theta.

ETA: I just printed out my reunion booklet too as a handy reference guide.

Now for the important stuff. What are you wearing to the Conventionite dinner?

I don't know yet. I'm excited at the thought of playing dress-up but I don't know what to wear. Who should I dress up as? I don't look like any celebrity but I have always loved Rita Hayworth and Audrey Hepburn. Classic & elegant looks that I can wear. Or perhaps I should go for something more flashy and dress up as a current celebrity? *sigh* The options are endless.

Must. Go. Shopping! ;)

I can't think of an easily recognizable movie/tv/music star that I could look like and would want to look like.

Someone suggested that I go as Victoria Beckham because my hair is an A-line bob like hers. Except I am not anorexic-looking like her and I don't think I could go a whole night scowling.

I'm so excited, I still don't know my plans-the chapter I advise is paying for the trip so they have to help me get it all figured out.

Well I quit my job a couple weeks ago so I can't afford to go this time. :( However, I'm close by so I there's a GC get together count me in! Looking at the registration, booklet Saturday morning (before initiation) and Saturday evening (530-730) is the largest chunks of free time. :)

I'm so in. We need to plan a GC get-together. Let me figure out some good options and I'll PM them to all those going to see if they are interested.

Do we find out who our roommates are when we check-in to Convention, or is there somewhere that we can see it online?

Also, American Airlines is making me nervous. They better have their planes fixed by June 24th!

I've been to two conventions and found out who my roommates were when I met them in the room.

Why don't they ever hold Convention at Disney World? Orlando has great convention centers and I could pike off of school if it was closeby.
