My first concert was a Dixie Chicks concert. It was so good and they seriously sang to well. It was before I had my license so my parents had to drive me and my friend for 2 and a 1/2 hours to get there. (I owe them I guess) Oh, and we made these signs (there were 4 of us) that said "Cowoys Take US Away" (it was so cute at the time http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/redface.gif)

My first concert was Paula Abdul w/opening band Color me Badd back in '92 when I was 12..
However, my first real big kid concert was Tom Petty in '95 for his wildflowers tour http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif |
First concert was Paula Abdul back in the day of "Coldheated Snake" and "Opposites attract." It was at Sea World in San Antonio and there were thousands of people there. My best friend (we were both in the 4th grade) and I went with our families. Concert was outside and we got there late. So our familes sat way in the back. We, however, were adventurous enough to wander around hundreds of people in front of the stage and pretended to look for our parents. Well needless to say, we scored a nice seat.
Most recent concerts in the last four years include Chili Peppers/Foo Fighters, the Urge, Vanilla Ice, Brad Paisley, Brooks and Dunn, Lone Star/Montgomery Gentry and more. Yes, I like country! |
My first concert was Van Halen. We had seats in the very top row right in front of the speakers. Need I say more?

AAAAAAAAhhhhhhh! The memories! My first concert ever was Pearl Jam in July of 1998 (Riverport Amphitheatre in St. Louis). What an awsome experience. I was with a boyfriend that I absolutely couldn't stand, but another couple went with us and that was good. I enjoyed myself the most when he got lost on the way back from the bathroom teehehee. We ...drank...a little on the way there (hey, STUPID, I know, but I was *invincible* when I was 17-wasn't everyone?) and I really had to pee when we got there. My sandals were cutting my feet so the boyf offered me a piggyback ride to the colony of portapotties in the parking lot. Trouble was, I got too much of a running start and he leaned over a little too much and I totally leapfrogged him in the parking lot. I laid on the asphalt and laughed my tail off for several minutes before I picked myself up, dusted off, and decided that I just COULDN'T wait for the ladies' one and just hopped in the (much shorter) line for the mens' one. About half of the seating at Riverport is a grassy hill. I remember just standing there with my eyes closed and my head back letting the music take me over. Everyone around me must have thought I was severly high, but I didn't care. I saw them again last summer and had the same wonderful (although MUCH more legal) experience.

The first concert I went to was when I was 17- it was the Hard Knock Life Tour with Jay-z, Redman and Method Man and DMX. The second concert I went to was Up in Smoke- Eminem, Xzibit, TQ, Snoop DOgg(Awesome- I about wet myself)and Dre. Mr. Ice Cube didn't come even though he was supppossed to, but no one even noticed until the concert was over bc it was that good! Those are the only concerts I have been to.
