1. Hunter Tylo did sue Aaron Spelling & won because he was afraid she would not be considered "sexy" if she was pregnant.

2. Hunter Tylo was on an adult show with other adults that was targeted for adults. JL is on a show made for tweens. Totally different situation.

I would definately and highly assume that Nickoldeon has a morals clause for its teen stars. They would be stupid if they didnt. These are kids that are looked up to and idolized by younger kids ( case in point my 8 yr old son). There are only few shows i let him watch and unfortunately Zoey was one of them. Now i wont let him watch her at all.

Also in the article it said season three is running right now and season 4 has just finished filming with a cliff hanger for zoey to choose to stay at PCA or go to london to be with her parents......geeeee i wonder now!

This is a shame i was hoping she was the one spears with a brain and was going to be better then her trashy sister.

Why cant he still watch the show? Zoey is a character, not a real person.

And since Nick appears to be standing by her, I think that there is not a clause pertaining to pregnancy/sex in her contract. Maybe drinking or drug use.

And where is Mr. Spears? I'd be really interested to see what he thinks about all of this. Some 19 year old knocks up my 16 year old and best believe her father would have some words with him.

The only Spears with a brain appears to be the brother, Bryan. Lynne Spears needs to sit down and get some help. Britney needs some real friends to tell her about herself, and Jamie Lynn needs to stop selling her story to OK! Magazine.

I don't understand why someone wouldn't let their child watch the show. Let them watch it if it's good, but don't let them watch Entertainment Tonight or read Tiger Beat or whatever. You don't need to know about someone's personal life to watch and enjoy a TV show.

I think the fact that she is pregant is sad, but the fact she is HAVING the baby and owning up to the fact she is pregnant is a step in the right direction.

I know that the baby daddy isn't on TV, but if he was, would his show be off limits as well?

Excellent point. I also think we are way to quick to chastise teen mothers. Are we upset that she had premarital sex? If so, then I suppose most of teens (hollywood and otherwise) would be as equally guilty. Are we upset that she (presumably) didn't use adequate birth control? Sounds like that is more a criticism for her parents in making sure she was educated and felt confortable getting that help (or maybe she had all that support and still effed it up).

I guess I don't really judge her or anything, since I certainly didn't wait until I got married at 25 to have sex. I guess I judge her a little for not finding a way to be more responsible with BC (assuming she isn't the .2% that will still get pregnant on BC). But more than anything, I guess I just feel really sad that she will probably loose out on a lot of opportunities and will have to grow up a lot faster than her peers.

So if she chose to have a legal abortion, she'd be wrong? If she chose to drop out of sight for a while, have the baby and give it up for adoption (which used to be commonplace), she'd be wrong?

There is no reason with the resources she has to have unprotected sex - she's not some ignorant hillbilly without book learnin' - and you'd think she'd have learned from Brit Brit's troubles with K-Fed that even if the guy loves you today, tomorrow might be a different story.

She's put a lot of people's jobs and livelihoods on the line with her irresponsible actions, from her costars right down to the makeup man and the guy who cleans the studio. When you're a star of a TV show, you can't just think about yourself.

Great points, 33, and more specifically to the point above, when she's the star of a TV show directed at impressionable young kids and tweens. And especially when the channel you're on routinely whores its stars out to events and meet and greets and every teen magazine carries pictures and stories that tell all about the stars to kids, etc. And especially when your older sister is the joke du jour already for derailing her career so badly. Now she's joined her ranks. There's no excuse or redeeming angle to this story, IMO.

Exactly! I couldn't agree more.

(Disclaimer: I'm against abortion except in extreme circumstances)

I do think it would be horrible if she had an abortion, because it's teaching the young girls that look up to her that it's okay to have sex and get pregnant, because you can always just have an abortion.

If that was her choice, I would hope she'd take care of it privately before the pregnancy came to light, not be so dumb as to say in a press conference "well, I was pregnant, but I went out and had an abortion and then went shopping." You don't wait and get an abortion when you're 6 months along - there would have been no reason for anyone to know.

Yeah, but you know Lynne would end up selling her out to Star or US if she tried to secretly have an abortion.

cutiepatootie has every right to decide what her child(ren) watch on tv.it's not right to jump on her for the decision she has made.

maybe if lynn spears had exercised a little parental discretion or guidance with her girls, they wouldn't be in the messed up places they are now.

When I said "there was no reason for anyone to know," "anyone" most certainly included her famewhore of a mother.

Oh, I do hope this latest news will affect sales of Mama Spears' parenting book due out on Mother's Day.

Lynne Spears's book about raising her famous daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn has been put on hold, the publisher confirms to PEOPLE.

"The book is delayed indefinitely. It's delayed, not cancelled," says a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, which publishes inspirational books and Bibles.

It had been scheduled for a spring 2008 release and was put on hold last week, says the rep. On Tuesday, news hit that 16-year-old Jamie Lynn is pregnant with her boyfriend's child.

Publishers' Weekly described the book as "Lynne Spears's personal story of raising high-profile children while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community."

The publisher declined to comment on whether the focus of the book would change in light of the pregnancy announcement.

"We are standing behind Lynn at this time and understand that she needs time with her family – we support that," says the spokeswoman.
