I love express jeans, but my favorite were the dirt wash lowrise bootcut..which they aren't making anymore, so i have to settle for the ultra low rise bootcut..i'm short, only 5'4, but i wear big shoes so the longs are a good length..but not so good for the summer when i wear slides, not boots..but a few weeks ago i got a pair of jcrew lowrise flares (not sure the rinse) but i absolutely love them..they are the perfect length to wear w/slides, but they are most likely just gonna be my summer jeans b/c they will probably end up too short w/boots..but i absolutely love them anyway..they are a great fit..great color etc..

I LOVE jeans from Old Navy...they are so, so SO comfy!!!

All time best brand of jeans:
LUCKY!!! Cute and somewhat affordable... Runners Up: Abercrombie -- Cute but always too short or too long! Express -- Very cute when brand new, but they don't look great after a lot of wearing. Paris Blues -- Great prices, cute for going out at night. Levi's -- If you buy the super lows... Deisel -- These are either hit or miss, some styles are adorable, some ugly. Mavi -- Very cute but usually don't look good on someone with a J. Lo booty... Seven -- Cute, cute, cute and very trendy right now. Kind of pricey... Earl Jeans -- Again, hit or miss, but some very cute, unique avant garde styles... they know how to keep them from being boring. And, to disagree with most of you here... Worst Jeans: GAP... always fit funny and shrink weird. Oh yeah, and best for boys... any carpenter jeans! |
I love jeans. If someone told me I could wear them every day, I would.
I like Gap and Old Navy jeans. I have absolutely no butt or hips though, so any pair of jeans has a gap in the back waistline. It's like I need a prosthetic booty! That's why I started wearing low rise...it eliminates that problem sort of. What I can't stand: super low rise...it gives EVERYONE plumber's crack...not attractive. I own one pair of jeans from Gap Kids. They are flares from like, 3 years ago or something. They fit correctly believe it or not, but they are now really light so I don't wear them. In high school, I wore men's Levi's 501's! Those are actually some good jeans! |
Gap jeans for me.
Ultra Low rise or boy cut or men's original fit styles. :) But i don't have much in the hip or butt area, so men's cuts tend to fit me better. |
I am ALL ABOUT Earl jeans. I got a pair from eluxury.com and they are the greatest thing ever -- I can't believe how well they fit. I am also somewhat lacking in the butt area and have relatively small hips, so I like anything slim fitting with a bootcut that's not all baggy in the hips.
Jcrew jeans aren't bad (their stretch hip-slung jeans with no back pockets almost make me look like I have a tiny bit of junk in the trunk), and I also like babyphat. |
Hootie posted earlier about being very picky about jeans and I can completely identify! Until I went to college I owned total of two pairs of jeans my whole life! I am in love with my A&F lightweight low rise bootcuts and my american eagle low rise flares. They are really soft, but I washed them three times before wearing them so they would be broken in!
I do work for the Gap and so while at work I HAVE to wear current Gap jeans and the ones that I live in right now are the GapStretch Long and Leans. The stretchy fabric is a lot lighter and softer, almost like wearing khakis! There are bootcut and low rise bootcut jeans in the stretch fabric and those are the same fabric, but different cut! Another big plus about the stretch fabric is that you can wear a smaller size in them! I also would recommend getting them soon because all of our jeans are $10 off right now! :) I'm a denim specialist at work, so this topic is really interesting to me. Jess |
All I can say is......super-low rise bootcut LEI's. The bad side is..well..you have to be really careful in how you sit down...lol

I cannot wear Express jeans at all. They just do not fit right on my behind - apparently most people's butts are lower than mine.
And Gap - I can't wear anything from that store. I bought one skirt there once. Nothing of theirs fits me. It's Levi's 501s for me. Classic, not too pricey. Now my boyfriend, he wears 505s. Once a year, when he notices his jeans are wearing out, he calls all the stores in town to see who has the lowest price and then goes in and buys four identical pairs ... Me, I have to do a color check (are jeans dark or light this year?), a waist check (is low in?), a length check (on the long side or the short side?), a cut check (OK, peg legs are out, flares are in, but not bell bottomy flares), and then try on a million pair. Once again we can see the difference between the sexes. |

Alright question...did Levis change their sizes or something? I have a couple pairs of levis that Ive had for a couple of years...I went to get a new pair (SAME exact style) and I tried on a size 4 which is bigger than my old pairs and they didnt fit, and a six was the only size that fit me right...how messed up is that?? Are they TRYING to promote eating disorders amongst women? I mean, hmm I now have to get a size six when the pants I bought 2 years ago (that fit fine) are a two?? Anyone else notice this? Oh and I was at Target the other day and saw a pair of mossimo jeans, they were really cute but they looked SO tiny...I thought they were like a zero or maybe a two...NO they were a TWELVE? WTF!?!? I double checked to make sure I wasnt in the kids section or something...it really irritated me! Sorry, had to vent!!!

I know that they can be purchased online at Lucky Brand Jeans.com, but Nordstroms, The Buckle, Neiman Marcus, Lucky Brand Stores, some Dilliards and some Macy's. That's all of the places I know of.
