I don't know if you'd remember this, because initiation is so overwhelming at times, especially at convention, but I actually sat next to you during your initiation! I was a guide for my mom, and you were right in front of her. :) She can't make it this year, unfortunately.

I'm going for Friday-Sunday. I think kk_bama will be there, too, since she is chapter advisor now.

Aww...it's a bummer your mom can't come. :( I do remember meeting you; but, unfortunately, I don't remember you (or really anyone!) during the initiation itself. It is overwhelming and all I can remember was clinging to my Big Sister!

3 weeks to go! :D

I found out tonight that I should be arriving on Friday sometime around 1:00 or 2:00 in the afternoon. I am not signed up for the workshops that afternoon, but I believe I am working a shift at some point at our boutique table.

So I should be available for any of the times Kelly suggested, although if my boutique shift is later on Friday it might be hard to meet before dinner. I'll post back or edit when I find out for sure about that.

Edit - I'm pretty sure I'll be working our boutique table from 2:30-3:30. So if by that time you haven't yet bought a pin that looks like this: http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...9/100_0346.jpg, you can stop by then. :) I think we've got them in silver now, too.

I'll be there from Tuesday night on but won't be doing much Friday or Saturday (only officially attending part time). And of course, Cele and I will be marching in the confirmed conventioneers parade for the first time. :D

I will probably also be at our boutique table for a few shifts..........

I'm so excited!! Next week! This will be my second one, but first one as the delegate!!! Yay Gamma Phi!

Yes, I'm coming! I fly up tomorrow morning with Epsilon Lambda's MVP. Another advisory board member and I went to Hobby Lobby tonight and got all sorts of cute stuff for our Confirmed Conventioneers hats!

And I totally splurged and bought a Lilly Pulitzer silk dress for awards dinner.

All in all, there will be a total of at least 6 actives and alums coming from Bama.

Seriously, I really need a new digital camera. I'm really tempted to go to Wal-mart right now to buy one.

Oh, and Kath: Do I need to drag you to Cincinnati? You can just like hang out in my room and dress up for everything and wear your badge and sneak in. ;)

Go to Circuit City - ask what's on open box! I got a new one this year for $75ish by doing that.

If you get your smarty chapter sister to take the bar exam for me, sure! Maybe you can bring a cardboard cutout of me around?
