Ah yes, I see! thanks for pointing that out. I guess I am just wondering what was the reason for deleting the post.

Actually OTW it is from the Theta Iota chapter of Alpha Gam- I received this letter myself.
I had some communications with the mother and she pretty much is a fanatic. I will leave it at that.

Mods feel free to edit if you would like and if OTW or other AGDs would like to discuss I will be happy to do so via PM or email.

Thanks for the heads up, S.

Did you get to see the original post? I found it ironic that the post started to describe the fanatical helicopter mom was fanatical itself.

LOL- yeah- well I spoke with my adopted Big Sis and she knows the girl and her mother. THis woman typifies helicoptering. Until the sisterhood retreat last spring she had never left Bowling Green overnight without being with her mother. She also had to call once every three hours while there. ??? Seriously if my mother were to say that I would laugh.

The other problem in this situation, and probably many parents like hers, is that she didn't give her all the information. It's one of those "she knows enough to be dangerous" things. So she took things to the worst case scenario and assumed.

Eh I could rant for hours about parents like this, but I am just extremely grateful when I was a teen/young adult- in high school and college, my parents were great about respecting my boundaries and giving me freedoms.
God Bless Mom and Dad!
