The only thing I can see is the scene where everyone was doing the roll call. I need for that camera to find the acutal march.

MSNBC was on some other mess so I got back to CNN and it is back to a live march broadcast stream. I felt like an abandoned kid.:( |
These CNN cameramen need to be quiet and improve their filming.
Why did I just hear someone cuss?:( |
Obama issued a statement. I saw it on one of the smaller screens on cnn.com. At the end of his statement, he says, "that this isn't a Jena problem, but an American problem." Before that, he says that a noose hung in a high school in the 21st century is a tragedy. Paraphrasing, that it shows that we have a long way to go concerning race in America.

I remember participating in the march in Forsyth County GA back in the 80s when I was in college. For y'all youngin's Hosea Williams organized a very small march on Forsyth County to bring attention to it's all white status. The county had been all white for decades because of a "situation" where all of the blacks were run out of town. Residents of the town threw rocks and bottles at the marches and someone had a camera to record it and it made national news. Hosea organized a march like 2 weeks later and there were thousands there from all over the country. Oprah even did a show from there.
I remember folks then talking about it was the rebirth of the movement and people in my generation (because there were a lot of college students from the AUC there) taking up the mantle of King et al. I also remember folks getting off the bus after the march and buying snacks at the gas station. I was irritated with that because I could not understand why you would spend your money in a county where people did not want you to live? Anyway...the comments that you guys are saying reminded me of that time. I do know the Forsyth march impacted me and I pray it impacted those folks that just had to have their chips and coke before we made the long 45 minute trip back to Southwest Atlanta. Maybe the "U know" folks are the children of those classmates of mine! LOL |
Who is this talking? Keyshia Cole?

ETA: Well it works now BUT it did like this DJ sort of scratch and rewound and fast forwarded and then stopped for hammer time before it played correctly. |
