Wow, who the fuck are you? Mighty strong words from the piece of shit Canadian. |

<<Turn about is fair play, fun huh?>> Well can you think of better words to label people so blindingly stupid and ignornant that they dismiss any science that doesn't fit into their literalist worship of a book? How else can I refer to people that think dinosaurs were on the ark, that evolution, biology, botany, genetics, geology, astrophysics, etc. are all the work of the devil? How else can I refer to people this fucking stupid and evil that they'd happily inflict this shit on their children and families? How else can I convey the disgust I revulsion I hold these fundie rejects in, whose twisting of science, archaeology, and doctrine places them in the same august compant as Nazi 'racial scientists'? and finally how else can I refer to ignorant dirtbags that defend this fucked up belief abandoned before the birth of Christ? I use the term inbred because I pray that they are, at least that'd explain or excuse the obvious mental and intellectual failings leading them to believe this shit. I use the term redneck because that's what they are: highschool drop-out skids that revel in ignorance, despise learn'in, and denegrate all those who aren't exactly like them and their messed up little clan. |

Oh I know - and yes I used to care, but I've used up all my patience in trying to be nice or understanding when it comes to dealing with these folks. I think the lack of any empathy or understanding for their position or views has been chipped away by the now weekly 'confrontations' with them (fundie literalists) outside my church or at my doorstep... six months of the constant "witnessing" has been enough, so I'm done with bothering to 'play nice' and have decided to treat them exactly as they have treated me and mine over the last two years. |
Don't turn this around on me shit head....I asked you a simple question.....I find it ridiculous that you would have the audacity to sit here and feel that you have the right to question people's religious beliefs, faith, interpretation of the bible, etc. Who the hell cares if they choose to take on a literal translation, Is it hurting you? It certainly doesn't bother me any. Why do you feel the need to "deal" with "these folks"? For some reason I don't think it would be very hard to just let them go about their own business. Maybe you have some hidden agenda, I don't know, God knows what you people do up there.
Furthermore, did you really just compare these people to the acts of those involved in the racial experimentation and T4 programs in Nazi Germany? Easily one of the most idiotic things I have read on here. Congratulations. Care to rationalize your assertion? I'd love to hear it. |

Believe it's literal if you like but don't come to school and demand that evolution stop being taught. Keep relgiion out of the science class. |

Now, I'm not sure quid pro quo is really a Christian value either way, so I don't know where this takes us. |

Personally, I don't care what others' beliefs are, as long as they AREN'T hurting me or other people. I think the issue at hand here, with creation science (and some other Bible literalist/Christian fundamentalist beliefs and practices), is that they ARE hurting others, because many of the followers of these tenets are attempting to force them on others. Personally, I'm a big fan of separation of church and state (and IMO, state-sponsored education is included in that). |

If the Creationists are causing problems for people and making their lives miserable....yeah, then I'd be pissed. But to say the things about them that RACooper did simply because of their beliefs.......I think that is pretty shitty. |

I'm pretty big into live and let live, but sometimes I just wanted them to shut up and let me go to class instead of following me around telling me I worshipped the antiChrist. |

So, this issue is not just live and let live and not hurting anyone. Yes, thinking your own thoughts is cool. But promotion with a animatronic display with 3D computer animation to dictate "thought controlled truth"--that action goes way beyond "not hurting anyone". It borderlines unethical collusion, sedition and subversion. When will it stop? Science may not have all the answers, but there are just some things you do not question if it is right: like Oxygen, Sunlight and the Earth rotating... |

Besides it not just the Creationists I hold this contempt for - I feel the same way about Holocaust Deniers/Apologists, the various museums and organizations the Scientologists have out there attacking Psychology & Psychiatry, Racial Supremists, Biblical Psuedo-Archaeologists, Social Darwinists, etc. |

Sounds good. Sorry for the harsh words, wasn't having the best of days. Definitely a little more level headed now. |
