Well, I measure myself, and its kind of hard to do it by myself... so I will measure myself 5 times or so and get a good average, here are my ranges:

Ribcage Measurements: High 31 inches, Low 30.25 inches, Avg. 30.5 inches which makes by Band Size 36.. which is perfect since 36 band size fits me like a glove

Bust Measurement is harder to get.. High 38 inches, Low 36 inches.. Avg 37. It all really depends on the style though. I can fill most A cups, and some B cups I can fill a good amount. All the bras I own are B cups though. The one I am wearing right now I am not filling but its because its a push up bra.

I kind of want to get fitted on my own at VS, but I am too afraid. Maybe one day ill work up the courage

I don't have man tits or anything, just a lot of chest muscle/tissue from all the weight lifting I have done in my life. I also think all the bra wearing I have done helps shape what I do have a bit to make it more bra-friendly. Not sure if thats true, and I hope its not, but oh well.

If you're this comfortable wearing bras, why don't you just make it known to your family and friends? You won't have to hide it then.

Well I kind of want to get profesionally fitted due to this, since measuring yourself is hard trying to keep the tape level and measurements accurate. The problem is that I don't have the balls to do this... can you imagine a standard average 20 year old going up to a worker at VS and asking to be fitted? It would be awkward!

I would love to go bra shopping with a female one day, hopefully one day it will work out. The trick to this is finding a female I can trust with my hobby :)

Somehow I have this feeling that sales personal at VS, and other stories, have seen it all. And if not, it it time for them to see it all:D

Also, there are smaller, specialty stores that one could go to as well rather than a chain.

Wow... working at a Victoria's Secret makes me feel like Albert Einstein reading this thread. You guys learn something new every day, huh? Here comes a long post... but its just to fill you in on some of your assumptions and what is really true

It's nothing really. There is nothing to be afraid of. Yeah, we think all the guys who come in to shop for themselves are gay/messed up psychologically, but so what? What are we going to do about it? One of the biggest things our management pushes is to treat everyone like the same sex. Gender is no barrier at Victoria's Secret, or so they say. If a guy wants to try on every bra in the place, let him. Legally we can't do anything about it. And when the guy leaves the place, we forget. It's not like we salespeople are going to hunt you down and make fun of your hobby for the rest of your life. Chances are we never see you again. Go for it, yeah we probably will think you are weird but its so common its not like you will stand out.

Once again, ccutoff is NOTHING(and I can not emphasize/stress that enough) compared to some other weird crossdressers/transvestites that I have seen in our store. ccutoff is child's play. Most of our male customers come dressed in some kind of metrosexual attire, sometimes blouses, camisoles, or tight fitting t-shirts where there bras can easily be seen. Not to mention the unplesant sight of some men coming in with low-rise jeans where we can see their panties/thong. And ccutoff preaches the truth: they preferred to be called a female name. They carry purses, wear makeup, all that, as they WANT to be women. ccutoff just likes bras. I would say we have 5 or 6 dedicated male customers.. all of which are freaks of nature, and nothing compared to ccutoff. Our female associates are obligated to fit these guys when they ask, and for the most part they don't like it(because they are over the age of 40/old/wrinkly), but since ccutoff is 20 and young, as long as you look fine without a shirt and aren't gross or anything I am sure the female associates will be GLAD to help you compared to other girls/older guys. Given a choice, it would not surprise me if my female co-workers would chose a college aged male to fit if they had a choice of anyone, any age, male or female.

Like I said... as long as you aren't terribly ugly or bad looking without a shirt on, the female associates will be glad to help you, no questions asked. Even if you are ugly they are obligated to fit you. If for some reason they say no, or reject you, complain to the store manager and they will get in big trouble. If the store manager puts up a fight, just go to a different store, since they won't be worth the embarassment. If that does happen(I highly doubt it) contact corprate.

The 8 out of 10 statistic is true, and its because we have females come into the store who buy bras based on the size they want to wear rather than what they should wear. It's really frustrating when one of my female co-workers takes the time to fit a customer and the customer throws the fitting out the window because they don't agree with the measurements. It's funny, because these customers who have a problem with their measurements put up a fight at first but will be back the next day returning their purchases. Listen to our fitters, they know what they are doing. They aren't doing it to make you feel bad or make themselves feel better.

No its not awkward. It's common. I have addressed this already though - just do it. They won't bite. If they do, complain to the manager or go to another store. And there are plenty male-female shoppers, we have a ton. Though I don't know if the males are buying anything for themselves or just helping the female pick out what she should get. We have never fitted a male and female couple at the same time before, lol.

Trust me, we HAVE seen it all. All out cross-dressers, guys who come in with a camisole with a bra under, spaghetti strap tops with bra under it with silicone inserts, the whole lot. ccutoff would be completely normal.

Before I worked at Victoria's Secret I would agree, but dude, trust me. This is nothing. I've seen much sicker things before. I would take this comment back.

CLOSING NOTE: The Victoria's Secret I worked at is not in a mall. It's a store in its own in a shopping center, so this may have something to do with these guys coming to that store rather than walking through a mall at another store with all their cross dressing attire on. I don't know, though if they have the guts to do what they do in our store you think they would be able to do what they do in a mall.

Well, yeah, of course at first I do think he is a little strange. But then when I think about it more, and read his posts, all he is really doing is wearing 1 harmless undergarment under his clothes where he doesn't want people to see. I'm sure we all have things we do in private that people would think are strange. ccutoff seems like a normal 20 year old guy. I am 19. If one of my friends wore a bra like ccutoff, I wouldn't think they were any stranger than before I knew the fact.

If I saw a normal guy like ccutoff out in public somewhere wearing a bra(outside of Victoria's Secret of course), I would think they are strange. That's because I wouldn't know anything about them. But ccutoff has given us the scoop on his bra wearing habit, and I understand him completely, to the point where I don't think he is strange. I personally wouldn't wear a bra, nor do I plan on it, but its better him doing that than cross dressing, doing drugs, etc.

I don't know. It's really hard for me to say. He's very straight forward so this makes him look very comfortable doing this, but a bra is made for a woman. I mean that's like a woman wearing a cup that's used for protecting a penis. I would think she was a little of her rocker just like ccutoff.

I just feel like the other members on here think I'm strange for thinking he's strange. I wear a bra because I'm a woman. He's a guy. How is it that there's nothing wrong with this? You seem to have a lot of knowledge about this. Help me understand, please.

:) Don't feel bad about it, because I and probably everyone else including ccutoff understand why you think he is strange. I know why you think so, its because this is new to you. Have you ever known any other guy who likes to wear bras other than ccutoff? The initial shock value of this is probably getting to you. I'm sure this is a new concept to some other people in this thread too, they are just quicker to be understanding at first I guess, while for you cheerfulgreek it might take some time to understand and accept what ccutoff does.

Yeah, the first time I saw a guy wearing a bra at work was shocking and I thought the guy was weird, etc, because my co-workers never warned us about guy shoppers like that. But now I have seen so many that ccutoff is just another one and it doesn't shock or wow me anymore, especially because ccutoff is nothing compared to others I have seen. I mean, at least ccutoff isn't wearing sleeveless tops and letting his bra straps peek out for the world to see, you know? That would be disturbing(and I have seen plenty of it).

But in the end, just think of it this way. It's a bra. Just a bra, nothing more, nothing less. Something that has 2 straps, 2 cups and a band. Something that can't even be seen most if not all of the time in ccutoff's case. He isn't hurting anyone, and its something that makes him happy. If it makes him happy, I am glad for him. As long as he isn't hurting anyone or anything else, I could care less. Like I said - its better him to do that rather than do drugs, child porn, pedophelia, etc... It could be much worse. And though society says that bras are for women, there are no hard ground rules or laws that state a bra is specifically for women. Society created the notion that bras are for only for women.
