Hey I wear a man-thong from time to time......JUST KIDDING

Trey_P-I_47 05-24-2007 08:39 PM

By the way I agree with Gamma Zeta on this, No MAN should ever wear a thong, especially one with our Letters.

But on a side note, what is wrong with the female version, I dont see it any different then them wearing a rush T-Shirt with letters on it....I dunno just my 2 cents

GammaZeta 05-24-2007 08:59 PM

Female version...it's ok. As long as it doesn't stay on too long.

Is it beaded? You know with all kinds of bling? Or just your run of the mill macho rawhide thong? :D

Reconsider - I beg of you

As scary as the thought is, DocRoc mentioned there are MALE thongs available with our letters.

I make an immediate motion to all LXA's to permanently BAN and strip of ALL recognition ANY LXA brother that 1. wears a thong, and 2. wears a thong with our letters on it.

Do I hear a second?

As a C&SC maven and a member of the Standing Committee on the Constitution, I beg of you to reconsider:

If this were to be an offense, it would be subject to an appeal to the GHZ or perhaps the General Assembly. This would require the presentation of evidence.

I ask you, my brothers, do we really want this sort of thing revealed? Brother Chipperfield would have to preside, and knowing Lynn, this might impinge on his sense of propriety. The Brother accused could request counsel, and, God Forbid, he could ask for me. I couldn't keep a straight face!

I suppose that I could ask that it be considered in the property realm of nuisance and simply ask for abatement.

Or perhaps I could ask for dismissal based upon a lack of evidence.

As an outsider, and thereby CRASHER, I hope I can still vote a resounding NO on any male thong-ish garments worn in the crackular region. LXA or no, it needs to be a VETO! :o

I hope this helps....but manfloss is never a fashion 'do'. No matter how cute the hiney.

Not in MY fraternity you don't!

Somehow, a purple, green, and gold thong, with or without fringe, sequins, or 'bling' is absolutely unacceptable.

Now, if it were a fez . . . .

Well, I suppose a fez in purple, gold and green, worn with a$$less chaps might make Blackwell's list, but beads are just tacky. I think the beads are the deal breaker. :D

John may be right.

Looks like we will have to enforce VIGILANTE JUSTICE on those wearing a man-thong!

GammaZeta,

Good question, just where do we draw the line?

How about thongs?

Somethinggreek.com, which advertises on eBay, offers a monogrammed thong. They do have a disclaimer: Note this item is not available for all organizations.

Another site offers a Greek God Thong for men in medium or large. I wonder how many medium thongs they sell!

Best Wishes,

Mike Raymond

Plus, I failed to note that the Greek God Thong is not available in small.
Sorry....

Sorry....

However, I do remember that the Lessor Gods do some mischief from time to time!

Guys,

Where I come from, men don't show their underwear to other men, be they boxers, briefs, or "other." For that fact, I am grateful.

And if you try to stop it, then you run into the problem of verification. Who is charged with the task of inspecting the brothers' drawers?

I think we should take a cue from the US military and institute a policy of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." If any of our brothers (God forbid) choose to live an alternative undergarment lifestyle, I'd personally rather not know about it.

If he does it and chooses to reveal that fact to the fraternity: swift justice, carried out on the spot.
