Good, I'll start by putting you on ignore.

Don't pretend like your ridiculousness began with KAZO. It began HERE and you carried it to KAZO. But YOU keep bringing up KAZO because you're pressed about it.

I took you more seriously when you were just an APOer who thought you knew everything about the NPHC. Now that you think you've upgraded, I'm humored beyond repair.
Spoken like a true Kazodian.

Daemon, I rest my case.

I rest mine. You're so consumed with KAZO that you think some people are the way they are because of it. Log off the computer and enjoy life, dude.

care to say or add anything of interest today?

I always enjoy civil discourse as opposed to high school infighting

About why you joined your organization?

Is that all that's going on in your "adult" world?

We have had more than my fair shakes of ribbing, and arguments and funny stares.

We have had more than enough people who have tried to figure out 'just exactly who am I' because I was in a different org.

We have in many ways have earned respect

We have in many ways have bonded with others in other frats and sororities because they have looked past the colors and letters see that we all are working our way towards the same goals.

People believe that if you join a 'newer GLO' you weren't good enough to join the older more established orgs. That is not the case. A lot of us that have started / joined newer orgs prefer the alternative vs the obvious.

Prefer to create unique traditions rather that be another name in an ever evolving one.

Some of us are just happy to be around like minded folk who are simply looking to making thier corner of world a better place......

So...what is your story?

I can identify with some of your statements. As a member of Sigma Gamma Rho I am have been asked the same questions, given funny stares, etc. about why I didn't join one of the more well-known sororities. I don't explain myself anymore simply because I don't have to. I know who I am.

So, I am here to say to you: will you please get off this forum, stop asking questions and stop explaining yourself. By doing this you are losing the respect I am sure your organization deserves.

I see from your location you are practically in my back yard. There is work to be done in central Prince Georges County. Please find the niche and fill the need. Your colors are almost identical to Kenmoor Middle and Charles Herbert Flowers High. What a coincidence!! Both schools could use male mentors. The schools' population draws from Landover and Glenarden and I'm sure you are aware of the problems we have in these communities. I have sons at both schools who could benefit as well. I'd be willing to help you also.

I checked out your website. If you want to grow and gain respect then take me seriously, be about service and scholarship, and most of all get off of this forum cause your approach is all wrong.

If I sound harsh, sorry. That's just me.

It's not harsh but it's one of the most adult things I have seen come across this board in the last couple of days and for that I say "Thank You"

Now as for what is going on in the area, I am new...I just moved down here w/i the past year..so I don't have an entire handle on the community...so just as an overview...what is going on?

An eternal Aurora would be someone who "pledged" and didn't cross. Aurora is a pledge term that should not be used now.

Daemon, I do have a question for you that perhaps you can enlighten us with:

What is currently going on with Phi O Psi (and Phi A Psi to the extent you can)? I try to keep up with younger orgs like yours, but your orgs' websites aren't always kept up to date. I actually thought your org was dying or had died out.

So what's up with Phi O Psi?

DaemonSeid 05-17-2007 11:58 AM

I can't speak for my sorors at this time as I am not privy to thier business.

At present time, we are focusing our efforts internally to restructuring our grad and national boards so that way we can better administratively oversee not only the business of the fraternity but also oversee the reactivation of our undergrads.

It's more or less a housecleaning period that so far has taken several months to put things correct so that way we can move forward but much progress has been made.

Cool. Hope to see Phi O Psi representing here in the Midwest soon.
