I'm a Tri Delta there and I'm very excited to see them installed! :) They are a great group of men!

The colony at Florida Gulf Coast University was colonized this past Saturday. Their colony name was Alpha Sigma Chi; I don't know their chapter designation.

Another Sigma Chi chapter installed at a FL university. Thats like the 13th chapter yall got in Florida. Damn it. I wanna try and get FIJI started at FGCU. I hear its a hot bed for expansion. But, I hear FGCU wants total control over greek expansion. Forget that. I'm gonna start contacting students at FGCU about FIJI and we're just gonna go straight to nationals and colonize without FGCU's approval. Somebody told me about how kappa sigma did the exact same thing down there. I'm thinking about doing the exact same for FIJI.

Best of luck with your endeavors. Phi Gamma Delta is an excellent fraternity.

"""Somebody told me about how kappa sigma did the exact same thing down there"""

they did, but they have a semi-bad rep here (FGCU) for doing it.

Just to update everyone. Sigma Chi will be conducting NCIs (New Chapter Initiatives) at three campuses next semester: Univ of New Hampshire, Cal State Long Beach, and Carnegie Mellon. Cal State Long Beach is a rechartering effort.

I'm pleased to report that the Sigma Chi Rho colony at Bryant University was chartered this past Saturday, May 1, 2010. If I'm not mistaken 37 new Sigma Chi Brothers were initiated into the new Lambda Eta Chapter of Sigma Chi.

:)

TSteven 05-04-2010 05:11 PM

The Sigma Chapter (Princeton University) will be re-installed on May 8, 2010.

MiamiSig 05-05-2010 10:54 AM
