HOly Crap!
"In the next 24 months, we plan to establish 14 new colonies across North America."

I'd really like to see more things implemented in the members only area....not sure what but I see a lot of potential for this website.

I concur.

The biggest problem with the old site was the lack of updated content. It's a little odd when HQ sends out press releases via its listserv while not posting the same on its website.

It's easy stuff to fix.

All things considered, it's one of the better sites in the fraternal world. Maybe not the best, but I still do like it.

They could do a lot more with the chapter listing. Hopefully they are still working on it, and it will be a lot better. As it stands, looks like they just copied their list of chapters, and link the names to the chapter site where they can.

they copied the famous alumni list right off Wikipedia! I added Joe Trippi AND the Joe Trippi info onto Wikipedia about six months ago after meeting his Fall 1978 pledge bros and checking an old composite.

LoL yeah I noticed that too...that they copied the list right of Wikipedia...thought that was kind of funny

Speaking of famous alumini I just saw Eli Young band yesterday at Billy Bob's Texas. Everybody but the lead singer is a snake! Look them up if you've never heard of them. They play some great music. We actually booked them for our row week party, and didnt' knwo they were brothers til they got here and one of them had a sigma nu tattoo.

I'll have to give them a listen. Looks like they were all from the Zeta Omicron chapter (Univ. of North Texas) from that I've read. Right up the road from me! :D

Their former EC went to my law school... graduated a couple of years ago. I think he mentioned something like that when they were playing at the Wormy Dog (a OKC bar).

I'm sorry I missed the show now.

All I can say is wow:

Click a state, then a school. Now, why can't our nationals put something like this together? They have access to ALL of that information:
- Pic of the house (hell, I have that).
- Link to the website
- Numbers (they get this each semester from the chapter, all active brothers paying dues, as well as pledges)

Most of the Sig Eps I know say their national website is pretty outdated like ours... and based on the Virginia chapter links, I'm inclined to agree. The Virginia Xi Chapter's (that's the chapter at ODU) website, membership stats, etc are all from back when I rushed SPE in Spring 2004 before going Sigma Nu.

I agree that it's a great format though... a lot more effective.

I wonder when they are going to launch the New Hotness they showed at College of Chapters. I think they said it would be "in time" for Fall.

I'm reading the new "digital" delta right now. It is boundless what they can do with this format - I hope they take advantage of that.

What is the website for the digital Delta?

That generally means Fall of the next year... just FYI.

Sigma Nu time applies everywhere.

Nothing more frustrating, but yes... Sigma Nu time is universal. :)
