I feel your pain. When I got my wisdom teeth pulled, I woke up for less than a minute during the surgery. It was long enough to hear loud crack in my mouth. I found out later that the dentist had to break my tooth in half to get it out. Nearly five years later, I will never forget that sound. |
i hate people smacking and popping their gum, and people smacking while they eat. it drives me right over the edge!
i cringe when i hear pieces of styrofoam rubbing together-to me its like fingernails of the blackboard. |

How awful....Dr. Sharts, paging Dr. Sharts. I would have to agree on the puking sounds though...pretty damn bad. That and when people suck up their snot, especially my students during tests and quizzes. I walk around the class with a kleenex box. |

The warning notes of the Emergency Broadcast System. I like to leave my TV on to nap to noise and that will invariably always wake me up. Maybe its cause I'm in South Dakota and I'm anticipating the next blizzard, but yeah....

i had my tail bone broken (forceps-childbirth) the sound of the bone snapping was horrible-- i was drugged and didn't feel alot of it- but the sound was horrible and heard by everyone in the room.

The worst sound in the world is when some underweight soccermopped punk starts bantering about 'Southern Greeks'.

omg..i hated to the sound when the dentist was drilling on my teeth..ugh! and i hate that gurgling noise..omg..thas weird!

For me, the worst dentist noise is that suction tube thing...the one that sounds kinda like Darth Vader's breathing. I've never had a cavity, so I don't know about the drilling sound. And I still haven't got wisdom teeth (knock on wood that it never happens), so I don't know about the tooth breaking sound either.
