Then I think you should inform the proper people in the NPHC group.

I will be, I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't crazy and this was frowned on.

Good.

The members of this NPHC sorority have every right to know.

I'm starting to feel sorry for her already because methinks this isn't going to be pretty.

I feel bad for the current organization, but not for her. I am going to try to find out 100% if she disaffiliated from SDT, but as far as I am aware she never did.Een if she did I don't know how I'd feel about it, but then it's not my worry.

I'm pretty sure that, from the NPHC org's perspective, it wouldn't matter whether she disaffiliated from SDT or not.

Precisely.

Abigail? Tituba? John Proctor?

I see you have a new handbasket.

Dual membership

It does matter that she was a member of a different org-- I suggest that you contact the National Headquarters of the Org that she is member of and inform them of this information. And let it go from there

KSUViolet06 11-09-2006 12:17 AM

Well, even if you don't tell us, I'm glad you're going to say something to the NPHC she joined.

I just hope that you all understand why I don't really want this information to get out.

You could just post a link to her Facebook page (or even just mention her Facebook name) and the appropriate folks will take it from there. After all, Facebook IS a public site, right?

LOL!!

People can notice the error of their ways but that doesn't mean they are granted a second chance.

I don't.

You could've easily done a GC search or asked this dual membership question without giving specifics. You chose to tell us about some girl from your chapter and Facebook but now you want to be hush-hush.

Drolefille 11-09-2006 12:16 PM

She hasn't given specifics. Wanting moral support doesn't mean she has to tell everyone everything.

No one has a right to know, and if it's not your GLO that's doubly true.

DSTCHAOS 11-09-2006 12:20 PM

No one said anything about her "having" to do anything or us having a "right" to know.

I just think it's silly and it's my "right" to express that.

I agree, but I'm not sure why you're quoting things.

I think that the whole "error of her ways" thing is stupid too. Whether in reference to a GLO or a husband in terms of race.
