UGA Quota
 

I have just been informed that UGA quota is 60. That means that out 1300 that started rush there are 1080 remaining. Approximately.

60 seems like a pretty good number for a pledge class. Mine was 56 last year, and we were all really close. I'm getting sooo nervous for her. One girl who went to my high school dropped out today after she got cut from her top 2 houses. I really hope my friend will get asked back to at least one of her favs! I feel like a nervous mom! Haha. Thanks for the update IHeartUGA!

No problemo. My house had 58 pledges last year...4 above quota. Hopefully too many girls won't drop after tomorrow. I'm going to go ahead and predict that only 16 houses will make quota before snap bids. Hopefully everyone will though!

I really hope KD does! From what I've heard, KD is a really strong chapter at UGA so hopefully they will.

Kappa Delta has a very strong chapter UGA. It is down the street from the Sigma Kappa House.

....down the street from every sorority house. Alpha Chi Omega, Sigma Delta Tau, and Delta Phi Epsilon are the only houses not on Milledge Avenue.

Haha, I guess ADPi is "down the street" from AOPi if you think about it. :) I remember the first time I drove down that long line of beautiful houses... so cool.

I loved living on Milledge, but I don't miss the crazy traffic.

Oh I miss everything about living in my house, even the traffic. It gave me a chance to check out all the houses, who was sitting on their front porches or throwing footballs in the yard (Lambda Chi, Theta Chi, Sig Ep). Oh, memories.

I just got a call from my bff who is VPR at my chapter and they have prefs today...I'm sooooooooooooooooooo proud of them!!! I don't think I'm allowed to tell how many girls are pref'ing but let me tell you....it's a darn good number. A big number. I'm like gitty over here.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say that UGA recruitment I think has been going really well. I was up there for Round 1 Day 2 and I was utterly surprised at the nice, polite and adorable girls! I'm so glad that there was such a big turn out. I surely do wish all the houses the best of luck! :)

What time are prefs today and bid day tomorrow at UGA?

Just want to know when I should be getting excited for updates on here! :D

Prefs started 9:00am to 12:30pm today. Bid day starts at 7:30pm tomorrow. How exciting! I can't wait to hear the results!

Pref Round!
 

I finally got in touch with my friend! I was so excited for her all day. She got asked back to....

Grace Kelly - Love love loved the pref round here. She knows this is the "one" for her. And she is so hoping to end up here. She told me she was tearing up through pref round and she can really see herself as a part of this sisterhood.

Jane Fonda - My friend had a great time at this pref round, and she would accept a bid from this house. She said all the girls are super friendly, outgoing and pretty. She really thinks Grace Kelly is the house for her, but she loves the girls in Jane Fonda and would be more than grateful to be their sister.


Dororthy Dandridge - Although she said their pref round was very touching, my friend is not interested in becoming a sister of this house. She said the girls are all great, and she has defenitley come away with some friends in this group, but it is not the right home for her.


I can't wait to see which house she gets a bid from tomorrow!!! Ahh I'm so excited for her. I remember when I got my bid from KD I screamed I was so happy. I hope everyone going through UGA rush is hanging in there. Tomorrow is the day you will know that it was all worth it.
