I expect everyone of my crowd to make fun
Of my proud protestations of faith in romance,
And they'll say I'm naïve as a babe to believe
Every fable I hear from a person in pants.

Fearlessly I'll face them and argue their doubts away,
Loudly I'll sing about flowers in spring,
Flatly I'll stand on my little flat feet and say
Love is a grand and a beautiful thing!
I'm not ashamed to reveal
The world famous feelin' I feel.

I'm as corny as Kansas in August,
I'm as normal as blueberry pie.
No more a smart little girl with no heart,
I have found me a wonderful guy!

I am in a conventional dither,
With a conventional star in my eye.
And you will note there's a lump in my throat
When I speak of that wonderful guy!

I'm as trite and as gay as a daisy in May,
A cliché comin' true!
I'm bromidic and bright
As a moon-happy night
Pourin' light on the dew!

I'm as corny as Kansas in August,
High as a flag on the Fourth of July!
If you'll excuse an expression I use,
I'm in love, I'm in love,
I'm in love, I'm in love,
I'm in love with a wonderful guy!

Haaaaa. We tried to sing this in my high school choir - imagine a room full of 16- and 17-year-olds singing this little ditty.

This could solve the problem of moderators and the different aspects of women's AI and men's AI. It might also encourage more men to consider AI, since they could actually find AI stories from other men instead of weeding through all the women AI stories. Just a thought. :D

This would kind of be like 2 threads called "How to Make Cups with Puffy Paint: Women" and "How to Make Cups with Puffy Paint: Men."

While AI is VERY RARE in NPC sororities, it is even rarer in NIC fraternities.

That is a very good question isnt it?

Is it wrong for growth?

Why not ask the AI's on site and see what they think!

I am damn proud of everyone of them and they seem to be harder workers to add this little point!:D

Dont mind Me for Blowing Smoke up their butts! (Means Cool)!

You mean when this happens:

Hi, I went through rush 6 times at two or three different colleges and universities, but I never received a bid (or, in the alternative, I didn't go through because I knew I wouldn't get a bid). Now that I've graduated, I'm still feeling the bitter sting of rejection. Hey, what's this neat site called Greek Chat? Oh wow, look! There is a light! It is called Alumnae Initiation! Oh, but now all my dreams can come true! I will take years to pursue every possible organization until one accepts me! Yes!

That is not for you to decide. You are not a member of an NPC sorority.

That is not for the PNAI's to decide as they are also not members of our sororities.

There have been mulitple AI's who have expressed extreme displeasure with what the AI forum has turned into.

This is just another demonstration of your absolute lack of respect for NPC orgs, their policies and their members.

You forgot "And everyone at Greekchat tells me I should go for it and will totally get in because I wasn't successful before, so I must be more acceptable now!!! I must be awesome! I'm contacting these 10 groups right now! I'm going to name them after Sesame Street characters! Then I can watch grown women making up cheers for Elmo or Big Bird!!"

Actually..not all of us went to schools with NPC sororities. No one on Greekchat told me I should AI. I decided that all on my own bcauase I'm a big girl. I did not contact 10 groups, and not a lot of us do. I just don't understand how this came to be a bash the PNAM thread.

But we're not supposed to talk about it because it would be discouraging, and would prevent people from naming their choices after bacterial infections!

Lol, I think someone once made a mock rush post naming each house after a particular venereal disease. Highly entertaining.

Where in my post did I say your name?

MJo19 07-25-2006 10:02 PM

I never said you posted my name and you didn't post it. I was mearly stating my position and where I am coming from as a PNAM.

The one thread where you wouldn't see the usual comments for once lol....

"I had gonorrhea once, so I'm cheering for gonorrhea!"

Granted there are different sets of Greeks and Rember, I am a Member of one of those other Greeks-APhiO!

You piss up a rope and are not worth the time and effort to respond to you!

Oh, why dont You post this to John as GeekyPenguin wants You to do as you follow in Her shadow!:o
