It's not always that straight forward, but yeah, there ARE other groups out there. My mother is an ADPi alumna but there are no Alumnae chapters here so she keeps in touch but has also joined Junior Welfare and PEO and is a Pink Hat (Red Hat once she's old enough)
I see myself staying active in Sigma Kappa, and hopefully in touch with a collegiate chapter, and probably NOT filling the space with other clubs. It's just a personal preference. |
I imagine myself taking the route of my dad. He is a check writing alumni of SAE at Texas and a member of the Texas Ex's. That is about it. He does not participate in any alumni chapters (I don't even know of any) but stays very close and in touch with a very good group of his original pledge brothers. Other than that he has memberships at various country clubs, debutante associations, etc.
