I've tried to convince my husband that he's gay (or at least bats both sides)...HE WEARS MAKEUP - NOT STAGE MAKEUP, EYESHADOW & LIPSTICK for Christ's sake. My husband said he can't be gay because he's married. Right.

The end of the last episode showed that it was actually Alex/Alexis in the bandages.. Daniel's brother after a sex change.

Latino gay culture can be strange indeed... I remember reading something about it in the Dallas Observer tabloid (aka 'porno paper') some time ago. Some can have a wife and kids and what otherwise looks like a normal family, yet they will have a gay relationship on 'the down low'.

Or so we think.

Since there was no body in Fey's tomb, when Bradford opened it, maybe Fey's alive and she got plastic surgery and is now going to try to take over Mode by pretending to be Alex after a sex-change operation. That's my theory because, like Nikki_DZ said, Alex's beef with his family would have to be a doozy for him to go through all that. Plus, Alex was the Golden Boy. He was already on track to take over Mode.

Though I think it would be interesting if it really is Alex, because I would want to know what big horrible thing his family did to him to make him do this.

l've heard about that kind of thing.
Although, I don't worry about it, because my husband gets squicked out when two guys kiss on MTV shows, and just about lost it and left the room during Brokeback Mountain.

Okay, it's been a hot minute since this thread was last bumped...so I'm bumping it again because of the Season Finale.

Kinda surprised that they didn't bring up that thing about somebody getting revenge on Betty's dad in Mexico from last week.

I had a feeling there was something about that Charlie girl's pregnancy that wasn't right.

:( about Santos. He was hot.

 about Amanda.

:) about Alexis taking care of her baby brother. Too bad Alexis' plan backfired. I'm not too worried about them, though. They'll probably be walking again by Season 2, Episode 2.

Speaking of hot...Kristin Chenowith was smokin' tonight! She should definitely do TV more often!

The West Side Story theme did give me chills. Can't wait till next season!

I was really surprised that they killed off Santos. He had really become a likeabe character.

i thought the episode was a little melodramatic, well more melodramatic than usual. it seemed like people were hamming it up or being more "extra" for whatever reason... but

Is his death a foregone conclusion?

People can survive gunshot wounds.

I was hoping it would only be a serious injury, but the way Hilda fell apart, I'm guessing he died. Plus, where would that story go if they actually get married?

jess_pom 05-18-2007 11:41 AM

Oh, and here's hoping Bradford isn't Amanda's father...

Yes, because that means that she played Naked Twister with her half-brother, Daniel.

But, then again, when Ray was revealed to be Jock's son on "Dallas", they never mentioned that he had had an affair with his half-niece, Lucy.
