Don't forget Michael Strahan and Pete Rose.

Michael Strahan averages about a half a sack a game. Pete Rose was the king of the single.

Hello everyone!

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. I've been resting all week, meaning I finished Lance Armstrong's autobio, among other things.

I was able to get a lot of perspective this week. I consider myself extremely lucky since it was caught during the first stage, meaning it hadn't spread to my lymph nodes. I have to undergo some radiation treatments and what not, but chemo isn't neccessary.

I believe I've been given a second chance, a wake up call, of how fortunate to be where I am now. Although is wasn't as serious as it could have been, it feels like it was a signal to stop makign up excuses and waiting and just start getting shit done, volunteering, serious coaching, all the stuff I've been talking about for years.

Anyway, thanks again, I'm trying to get back to normal life asap.

Max, that was probably the funiest line I've heard so far. The guys have just been calling me Lance and Tom, and asking me how my bike ride went, but they had a whole week to prepare.

I'd rather we all laugh at losing lefty than you all cry over me being dead.

BobbyTheDon 01-19-2006 09:56 PM

STAN! I'm glad everything is going fine for you bro. That is freakin great news.

Don't worry about 1 nut. Now it will only hurt half as much when you get hit there.

You da man. Take care brutha

honeychile 01-19-2006 10:07 PM

It is SOOOOO GOOOOD to hear how good you're doing, Stan!!

And you're definitely right - it's better to laugh about losing Lefty than to cry at a funeral! Thank heavens you got treatment in time!!!

Welcome back!!
