i was one of 8 chapter founders.
|
I joined during spring COR, so there were only 4 new members in my class... Not suprisingly, we all were initiated! It was nice to have a small group - my pledge sisters were not the girls that I was ever really closest to in the chapter, but each of us wound up being very active Alpha Xi members!
I think I bonded more with the next class of new members (the next fall) and I wound up with "twin" lil sisters. |
Sigma Class
Started with 34 18 Initiated (most drop themselves during the first week when they discover that joining a fraternity requires doing things) |

1 went alum after first year. The other 2 are now both on Grand Council, which we think is pretty indicative of our New Member class :) |
There were seven of us :)

52 started, 52 finished. It is a beautiful number, a little large though. We average about 40+. Luckily we still bonded.

In the grand ol year of 1985, There were 11 associates. 9 made their grades and 2 of us did not. I was one of the 2.
He and I re-associated in following Spring Semester. I made my grades and the other associate did not. I went thru Ritual by myself at the start of the Fall Semester of 1986. It was worth the wait. Anyone else go thru their organization's Ritual by themself? |
There were 10 of us in my new member class, and 8 of us were initiated.
|
6 strong women crossed with me, making us a line of 7 :)

12 started, 12 finished :D

3 started, 3 finished.

My class was 30, 29 initiated and I'd say just over half maybe survived through college.

I was a spring girlie with 10 other Alphas. I came in during spring recruitment with 7 other girls and 3 were carried over from the fall (COR).
Alll 10 initiated. 2 deactivated by the end of the semester. I transferred schools, but I'm pretty sure the 8 of us would be considered members in good standing. |
