Tri Delta automatically engraves all badges with the initiate's initials, chapter letters and chapter initiation #.

BTW...I'm so glad you finally got your badge!! Love those diamonds!!

Mine isn't engraved. I don't see where they could put your name because the whole back is holes for the jewels.

Lake, I have never seen your badge, but I suspect it's a lot bigger than mine with a lot of room. Did they engrave your full name?

Gamma Phi's are engraved too. Mine has my First Initial, Last name, Initiation Chapter and year of initiation on it.

Wow... where does it all fit???

Are you able to take a picture of it? I'd love to see it (front AND back)

Actually, my badge is tinier than I expected it to be. I had pictures of our badge from various sources, of course, and it looked bigger in pictures.

They didn't engrave my full name, just my three initials. My chapter letters and chapter # are also engraved on it too.

Ladies, those badges are soooo pretty!

Out in LA, I had a chance to meet with a KD sister who has saved several of our badges off of E-Bay. I had a chance to look at several of the badges from different eras, and wow...they are so beautiful! I would definitely have to agree that the scrolled edge badges are not as pretty as the plain edge badges from years before. I also had a chance to see the different styles up close--and that is allowing me a chance to make up my mind for the badge I'm going to get when the time comes!

Mich and Jill... I LOVE your badges! They're gorgeous. But.. you can tell I'm a diamond girl! :)

blueangel 07-06-2005 07:28 PM

Trojangal, you're going to have a tough time deciding. KD has REALLY gorgeous jeweled badges. I've seen so many that I'm in love with. Which ones are you leaning towards?

Somebody gave me some very sage advice-- order a chapter guard. If your badge is jeweled, you especially don't want it falling off somewhere. A guard gives you the extra bit of protection.

I guess you can add me to the class of 2005. I am a new alumnae initiate of Sigma Sigma Sigma. I was initiated on May 7,2005. I'm still waiting for my badge but like the saying goes "good things come to those who wait". I just hope I don't have to wait much longer.
