The news kept mentioning how she was an honor student and a cheerleader. So? Sounds to me like she's a spoiled brat who is too used to getting everything she wants.

I heard that the (i think it was the) Nevada authorities gave her a teddy bear and said they hope she was alright. I don't know if someone already mentioned this.

This may have been mentioned already, but I was in line at the grocery store and read in some magazine (People?) that she (I just realized I don't even know her name, lol) had been arrested like five times before for shoplifting. They showed all of her mugshots. I'll see if I can find the story online. Clearly she needs psychological help like nobody's business.
