Congrats to ZTA!

Congratulations to ZTA - from Texas, where I think every major university has a Zeta chapter. There sure are a lot of them here!

:) Today the Zeta national officers are here presenting this program: "Experience ZTA". We hope for a great turnout!

Today's presentation was for alumnae. I was there and the interest in the new colony is very good. We start the PR effort after Phi Mu concludes their Bid Day on Sept. 16th. We'll officially begin recruiting Sept. 26 and end on the 29th.

We're looking forward to the newest Zeta chapter, number 11 for the state!

So Phi Mu and the local rushed last week. I'm told that Phi Mu got who they wanted and the Hazing Local got who was cut by Phi Mu. I call them that because they're already hazing again and it's getting them a slap on the hand. They're requiring the pledges to wear deelybobbers and dresses with hose and come to a Bible Study at 7 AM.

One of the Phi Mus told me that they obtained a picture last year of a blindfolded pledge in the local in her bra and wearing her underwear over her shorts, having stuff dumped on her head. You could clearly see a member doubled over laughing in the background. The Phi Mus turned then in and the local basically got a warning. The dean claims she put the fear of God in them concerning this year but I guess not, since they're hazing them already.

On the plus side--Zeta rushes this week! Someone told me that they're hoping to interview about 100 girls for about half that number of spots. I hope that they power out the local. Good luck, Zeta!

Unfortunately, The Local cant figure out if they keep hazing as they do they will wither away and die no matter how long they have been there! :rolleyes:

I am sorry that You know who did not come down and investigate as hard as I tried. But, there is a new group now.
