Snicker. Sorry, I had to. There's a difference between grammar and basic writing skills and saying what you mean. In any case, as a so-called educated woman one would think it would be something you'd try to improve, as it sure doesn't make you look educated. If you're the first in your family to go to college, you'd think you'd be proud of that and try to act like it. I'm not a grammar whore, but grammar isn't even the issue here. Writing things that don't make sense, contradicting yourself, using the total wrong words. It's hard to take anyone seriously that does that. It's well beyond making typos and a few mistakes.
It's one thing to keep personal info to yourself, that's fine. But to not even admit what your affiliation is on a message board for Greeks is very fishy and makes you lose a lot of credibility. Especially when you've said things to contradict yourself.
I can totally understand not revealing personal info, but greek affiliation is not exactly very personal information. But between not revealing your affiliation and the horrid writing, a lot of people aren't and won't take you seriously.
