methinks that people who get that pressed about GC should click that little red X at the top of the screen.

I can't believe I let myself get baited in this stupid argument
I want to apologize to everyone here for my behavior yesterday (2/20/05). It is totally alien to my character, and I don't know what got into me. My Bible reading took me to the book of Proverbs chapter 14 where some scripture showed me the crux of this whole debate (taken from the NIV):
My errors: Pro. 14:29 - A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly. Pro. 14:17 - A quick-tempered man does foolish things and a crafty man is hated. In other words, I should've just spoken my piece and left it at that rather than (over)react to some juvenile insults. Now for my opponent(s): Pro. 14:9 - Fools mock at making amends for sin, but goodwill is found among the upright. Pro. 14:6 - The mocker seeks wisdom and finds none, but knowledge comes easily to the discerning. The bottom line of this whole debate comes from Proverbs 14:7: Stay away from a foolish man, for you will not find knowledge on his lips. The point is, this whole fuss on someone else using the Kappa hand signal (or any other BGLO hand signal, for that matter), is a trivial issue, and only a fool would take it that seriously. Furthermore, I was wrong for wasting my time trying to reason (and subsequently get baited into an argument) with fools (a fool is defined as one who cannot discern right from wrong and good from bad). If anyone agrees with the particular person(s) I debated with, then their thinking is foolish as well. While I will continue to post my disagreement(s) with BGLO members discussing trivial issues in and around GC, I will not debate with fools; clearly it is a waste of time, as illustrated by this thread. On a lighter note, I leave you this scene from the stage play "The Wiz" The Wiz: (to the Scarecrow) Which is more deceptive, the foolish wise man or the wise fool. Scarecrow: (deliberating) The foolish wise man or the wise fool? Don't ask me, I never was good at multiple choice. The Wiz: Why, you dumb sack of straw.... And with that, I am done with this thread, and all those who are in it. |

doing something about it isn't the same thing as liking it. people do shit i don't like all the time, does that mean i'm going to place my hands in it. people are entitled to opinions. |

Man, I haven't been UP IN HERE for a while (I know that's sad). I can't believe it's getting crunk in the KAPPA room. It's normally not alot of drama in here. However, now I see what (I mean who) the problem is. As I look back on my previous quote from way back, I am starting to think that I was a little too hard on RM. Then again, "Naaaa." Sometimes, RM asks for abuse kinda like a good scroller :D. Since I am a good BIG BROTHER (kinda like Dr Death on School Daze), I just have to give him what he wants. SKEEphistaAKAte, I got your back (not that you need it), girl. However, if RM offers to give me his phone number:confused: , you are own your own like Patti Labelle. I don't get down with that DOWN LOW stuff. |
