Ideal, I am so sorry about your ballot! :(
I voted today around 4. I was in line for about 7 minutes. Go Kerry!!! I wonder if Puffy will still sell the "Vote or Die" t-shirts. I want one! |

This is worse than them waiting for flu shots!!! |
I voted today around 5 pm.
I was sad because I wanted to vote in my home state (Michigan), but wasn't old enough to register there. :( But "Yaaaayy!!" for my first time voting today! :D enigma_AKA P.S. Listening to Barack Obama's Senator-Elect Speech is worth every minute!! |
it took me about 45 min. but i did vote.
there was a lady who got there right after me and asked (as if i would know) how long it would take to vote. i got a little preachy (or "crunky" :D ), stating it didn't matter how long it took but that the important thing is that we vote. she left anyway... :( <--- because now she's going to die. |
Had problems finding my name on the polls but I was able to vote...
|
Since I had to walk the streets to help get folks to the polls at work today, I voted at 6:30 AM.
But I was very mad that my party had be changed without my knowledge. I have been a registered INDEPENDENT since 1998 (registered in HS) but when I went to get my ballot and sign in, I had REPUBLICAN next to my name. When the Board of Elections opens back up in the city, I am gonna get it straightened out!!!!    |

FYI "Queen of Crunk" you need to stop!! You were soooo close to receiving a bill for my keyboard repair...I almost spit soda all over it. I VOTED!!! My mom and I went around 11am. My wait took all of 5 minutes (due to the woman who was holding a conversation instead of taking my name). I proudly wore my "I voted" sticker all day. I also gave little gifts to my clients who voted today. ALSO, I hope people are watching the Comedy Central election coverage. IT'S FUNNY and informative! |
I voted and although the line looked long it was only about 30 minutes.
Here's the sadly funny part. As my husband and I are standing in line ( with our Ecko Vote or Die shirts on) a man and his wife are passing out "Christian" voter information packets and water. They make it a point to start and the women directly behind us and go down the line. If you are claiming that you are a christian why would you not give me (or my 10month old son) a bottle of water on a hot day...is it becuz of my T- Shirt??? If it wasn't for the fact that i had on that shirt and my son was present i would have truly straighten them. But i'm somebody's mama now... got to set a positive example. |
Hello,
I voted about 3:00pm yesterday. I went straight in and out. The lady had a little trouble finding my name in the book.. I am not sure if she could read or the fact that she was a 1000 yrs old. It was lines at the other precinct were a little long!!!!! GO KERRY!!!!!! :) |
I voted yesterday at about 6:30pm. There were a few people in front of me but it was pretty quick. Unfortunately it wasn't enough. I wanted to wear all black to work today. :(
|
I voted yesterday at 5PM! Luckily my polling station is a 30 second drive from home! Voting took all of 10 minutes. 3 people in front of us. Was great!
Lots of 1000 year olds at my location as well! I am so proud of my husband! First time voter. And he's been so passionate about it! :) |
Yesterday at work, I gave rides to the residents who were registered to vote. I was up and out at 5 am to get them there and in line so that they could vote b/c in Saginaw the lines were 3-4 hours long at some precints in the city.
Hubby and I went to vote after we picked up our son from school. We have been talking to him about voting and he's been watching (and singing) the commericals about voting and democracy on Nickelodeon so we decided to take him into the booth and watch us vote. We live in the suburb part of Saginaw and we were in and out in like 5 minutes. This was mainly because 20-30% of the residents there had voted by absentee ballot in anticipation of the lines. Finally, Hubby and I baby sat his sister's kids while she went to vote. Her precint was the local high school and it was one of the places where the line was 4 hours long. She left at 5 and didn't come back until it was almost 10. Let me tell you: it wasn't a good time. See the HC thread. |
I voted yesterday at 7:30pm--that's right, I was one of the late ones. :D My polling place was near home, and voting took all of 5 min.
