I feel VERY BLESSED compared to some of you guys.
I pay $365/month for 850sq ft one bed room apartment with a large walk in closet (and a regular one) with a riverview. The nieghborhood is quiet and very nice. I recently found out that my neighbor pays $300/month so please believe I will be fussing for even cheaper rent when that time rolls around. My only complaint are the ducks that seem to congregate evvery morning near my window. I guess its their hangout or something. :p |
Nothing on a two bed duplex. Tenet pays for it and getting a good deal actually, 675.00 a month for a 3 bed room and alot of nice shit in it.:D
Rental depending on where it is can be a bitch. |

The Resort is nice & all but the Chevy Chase area is beautiful! I have a friend that lives in that area only paying about $500/ month even though everyone else that lives there moved in after new owners bought the place & now they charge them like $750! I get back late Oct. 9/early Oct. 10. I have to jump right back into the work week but I'm sure we can get together next weekend or something. :D |
$1810.90 for my 3 bedroom ranch, no garage. That includes home owners insurance, flood insurance and taxes.

about $450 a month for a one bedroom one bath

I pay 469 a month for a one bedroom/ one bath

I pay $387.50 for my half of a 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom apt with washer and dryer in our unit. Used to only be $375 (a whopping $12.50 cheaper) but we've switched to month-to-month. That includes no utilities (except water), but I have a five minute commute to work, so I save money on gas and the local grocery store and one of the malls are even closer.

my roommate and i pay $217.50 for a two bedroom one bath apartment. that is very cheap for what i'm seeing the prices of your apartments. but, its not a bad price for living in a crappy town...but the school is really nice!

Oklahoma City is famous for cheap rent :D
I live downtown in a gated complex (it's kind of like a fortress). I have a 2-bedroom, 1274 sq. ft. apartment on the second floor which is okay because we have elevators. The rent is $825/month. Water and sewage are included. I also get covered parking. I could have the same size apartment elsewhere in the city, but as it is, I'm across the street from the big music hall where the best concerts/operas/musicals are and 1 block away from the art museum. A trolley stop where I can get to the clubs district for 25-cents is about 2 blocks away and work is a little over a mile away. I pay a lot extra for location, but it's worth it. |
$1185 per month plus utilities for a 874 sq. ft. 1 bedroom apartment in a high rise... which actually isn't to bad for being on a subway line.
|
$750 for a 4-bedroom townhouse... not including utilites which are about $100/month per person.
|
My apartment was $840+ utilities for 3 bedrooms, 1 bath.

I don't pay anything :) My bf pays $1800 for out 1 bed room w/walk in closet, a big loft/bedroom that we use as an office, 1 1/2 bath. Right now it's an apartment, but they're selling the place off so they're turning into condos. We have an awesome view of Monterey Bay and is a close walk to a bunch of places. At night during the summer, there's all these fishing boats with their lights on. Property around here is so freakin expensive. A nice house in Monterey is almost $1 million. A nice, small house in Pebble Beach is almost $2 mill. The kind that we like is way more than that.

Our mortgage is $850/month not including utilities. Our house has 3 br, 1.5 ba, 1500 ft2, no yard and a garage that is unusable. But it's on a corner lot, has lots of character and is in pretty good shape for being nearly 90 years old. This year our payments went up $120/mo because of stupid escrow. I was not happy about that.
