2 years - guy I used to work with. He just wasn't ready for a relationship. Neither was I, lol. current: 2 years, 4 months. Still going strong. :) |
1). My current realationship is by far the longest!!! It will be 7 years on Dec. 17th! :)
2). A guy I dated during my senior yr. of college. He dumped me for his high school sweetheart after 4 months. She eventually dumped him for a women. And he now dates men.... so go figure.... 3). Three months during the summer between my sophmore and junior yrs. in college. I loved him and was crushed that he didn't want to be an exclusive couple while I was away at college. Shortly after I went back to college he had sex with one of my friends. Explains why he didn't want to be a couple! |
1st relationship) 5 months: March 2001 - September 2001: He was the biggest jerk. I was stupid for thinking he was worth my time. Note: This relationship and the next one overlapped for two weeks. lol...I was 19 and dumb...what can I say? The 1st bf was not thrilled. The 2nd bf was just happy that he stole me away.
2nd relationship) 3 years and 1 month, September 2001 - October 2004: It had seriously run its course. We should not have been together that long. Piece of advice: If you find yourself wondering why you are still with someone and it is just not fun to be around that person anymore...IT IS TIME TO BREAK UP. Don't stick around for another 6 months so you can try to figure it out. 3rd relationship) 6 and a half months, May 2006 - current: I don't see this one ending anytime soon....;) :D |
1. 6+ years and counting: The husband. We dated for nearly 3 years before getting married; we celebrated our 3rd anniversary in Sept.
2. 3 months: summer between freshman and sophomore years of college. It ended because he was going to college 500 miles away. 3. 2 months: beginning of freshman year of college. We quickly discovered we had nothing in common when we were sober. Obviously, I was not much of one for dating... |
15 years--- dated for 5, married for 10--- AND i picked up my divorce papers from the attorney today!!! :p
|
The one I'm in now is at 6 years and 2 months - we did break up for almost a year 2 years ago, because we were at the point where we'd never dated anyone else and started having doubts about being so serious...I went out a few times during the period but no real "relationship" - I pretty much was just still dating him. But we're back together, and happier than ever :)
Before this one, I dated someone for 11 months, and someone for 3. |
5 years and still counting :). I like to think I finally did something right the first time, hehe.

hmmm
1. Spring semester of my jr. year in high school- spring semester of my freshman year in college. We went to schools far apart and when I went to go see him for our two year anniversary, he broke up with me. It was tough. We were young (I was 17 by the time it ended), so, go figure. He was great other than that lol.
2. 2 months my sophomore year in college. We both kinda realized it was going nowhere. 3. 2yrs+ now. |
I've been with my fiance for nearly four years now. We met on a blind date and we've been together ever since! Life is never boring when we're together, that's for sure!
1 1/2 years in high school. We broke it off because we were more friends. Funny thing is, fours years have passed and we've never once talked again. So much for friends! All the other guys I dated were under three months. Plus, those two relationships have pretty much taken up my life! |
