Yes, the media puts out what sells. It also doesn't do a very good job of expressing how common this really is. It brings things like this to light so that we, the everyday people, can be informed and hopefully take measures to prevent/stop things like this from happening.

update again, after 2months

They found her remains in a dump in Utah. From the garbage found immediately next to her remains, it appears that Hacking murdered her and then dumped her in the household garbage.

Sick.
