My 21st birthday! :) I was wondering when Kappa Xi was installed. Now I'll always remember in case that comes up for some sort of trivia!

Anyone heard anything final about FIU? I will TOTALLY go if we colonize there and need alumnae to help! :D

Nothing yet. According to the FIU person on GC, the chapters have voted within themselves but a formal announcement won't be made until either the 10th (Thursday) or the 17th of this month. I so hope we were chosen because another SK chapter in Florida would be fabulous! :)

Me too! Beta Tau has become quite the powerhouse of wonderful young ladies, and they don't need us old alumnae to come and help with every little thing :p , so it would be awesome to have a brand new baby chapter to coddle!

It's exciting that we can add another new chapter.

Well, we didn't get NYU but there are other schools open for expansion. UCI near me is open for expansion and I found out (by calling the Greek Life office) that no group has been invited to present yet nor has any group been selected. It's still in review. We have a large alumnae group here in California. I'd like to see us at UCI, my little sisters alma mater.

I know it's a long shot, but I would love to see the Beta Kappa chapter at Colorado State reactivated. I think it would be a great addition to the other two chapters in Colorado (Zeta Pi and Gamma Alpha).

BUT-I know ZTA just colonized last year, and I don't think our GLO is looking to expand.

Actually, they are but SK is really selective and weighs the pros and cons heavily of expanding to any particular campus. ;)

So this list needs to be updated to add our newest chapter and our 2 colonies.

Anyone know what happened to it and when? I may have to transfer there, and I'm heartbroken that the Sigma Kappa chapter went dormant. I wish, I wish, I wish that they would recolonize it.
