O.K. I am seriously LAUGHING my ass off over how ridiculous some of you really are. It's a fucking post & the fact that some of you are rushing to defend the honor of a girl like her makes me laugh so hard it's unbelievable. However, I would like to thank all of you for the attention my post has received. I could frankly care less for what you may think of me & my views regarding Paris Hilton. We all have our opinions & I'm choosing to express mine. As for being on my high horse, the view is quite comfortable from here so I think I'd like to stay up here & view the lesser people from my post on Mount Olympus. In case you didn't get that, I just used sarcasm.

While there may be sorority girls out there who have done things far worse than Paris Hilton, the point you obviously missed is that while a some gals have reputations that are beneath the scum of a boot, the rest of us don't need the rest of the world to associate us with ladies (and I use the term loosely) like Paris Hilton. It's bad enough sororities have bad reputations & publicity from certain books don't help either, but to now have her playing a sorority girl just plays up on the negative stereotypes we've been battling all along.

Not only that, but defending the "honor" of someone they don't even know. Sort of cheapens the gesture.

He revels in it. You're forgetting the fact he's morally bankrupt. He routinely videos sexual encounters with partners, what said partners don't expect is for him to routinely lend those videos out to his buddies for their "enjoyment" (which he did). Much less release them on the internet and make several million dollars out of it. There was a case some time back where a college student released a tape of his girlfriend (not Libby H.) and under some obscure law got a harsh sentence. They should throw away the key on this guy, too.Having fun is not outlawed just yet. Regardless of what she does, her lineage and youth means she will be followed WHATEVER she does. That aspect mirroring the late Princess Diana. :) Incidentally many of the benefits she has been to raise much for charity but that aspect is not focused on, just who's with her/her clothes etc. Just because she hasn't picked up a shovel and helped dig a community garden for disadvantaged kids doesn't mean she doesn't do anything.

I could point out again in detail how she parties less than some college girls, how she was the victim of someone she trusted releasing intimate records of a committed relationship; but I think it'd be lost on you.

Okay, you're so quick to defend Paris Hilton about judgments being made against her, but then you drop a harsh judgment about the guy? Not that i'm saying he's not an asshole, but at least be consistent. Attacking others for their views on Paris, but then you're attacking this guy who you also don't know- that's pretty inconsistent.

And the case that you're talking about, the guy got off scott-free I believe, at least on appeal. I remember it because of the outrage in the discussion of this first year.

He gave an interview in a UK paper (colour supplement of) a while back, a double page spread. He enthused about how he'd made $8 or 9m dollars out of it (selling video on the net etc). The newspaper (The Observer) is a broadsheet; fairly respected and not tabloid style.

It was an interview given by him with direct quotes, even if there was a slight spin, it was still an interview in which he was happy to state how happ he was to have made all those $$ and how okay he was with his methods.

I consistently think he's a lowlife. :p

I asked for clarification on what was meant by certain people's comments. They came out with them; I imagined they'd know why they said them?! It's doubtful they have a type of Tourette's syndrome affecting their typing.

As for comment on foul mouthed if you can't extrapolate any basis for that from his/her post then I can't help you. As for suggestions of jealousy it's a logical assumption (esp. in absence of alternative explanation offered by poster) of the basis of his/her vitriol toward someone she/he has never met and who practices behaviour many other people of that age do (but which said poster doesn't condemn with similar vitriol).

So I don't buy into your hypocrisy comment.
