My fiance went to Elon and almost pledged Sigma Chi. He forgot about having to go to class and ended up at home, till he came to NCSU. One of his friends went Alpha Chi, but I only met her once.

I really feel like everyone on this board has been very professional about the process, unless I missed something. I can't wait to find out, regardless. I am such a nerd and really enjoy knowing these things. I also have my best friend, who is a tri delt, waiting for news in Australia.

I had to miss because of an infection in my chest wall (BLAH).

One of my best friends from HS is a Sigma Kappa at Elon... I'm excited to find out who was chosen!

No matter what, expansion is good for Greeks and I hope that whom ever is chosen is able to do well! nice to guess, but if not who thought, I hope all are not disappointed but elated for expansion!

Our secretary's son is on the football team at Elon! I think he decided not to join a fraternity though.

Dang it- I was sure they would have decided by now. :(

I can't believe they are hvaing exams so late. NCSU just finished up this week and UNC has been done for two weeks. Stinks.

Yes but Elon is on the quarter system...so they go longer.

Once again, Congratulations to Any New Greek Organization who goes onto to a new School!

I am sure that each Group looked long and hard at what it would take to try to last!:) If not, they would not have ever thought about making presentations!

Actually, Elon is on Semesters but they have a "Winter Term" during the month of January so their second semester starts a little later.

they have already chosen the org....let it go....maybe they chose yours, maybe they didn't.....

I actually had a conversation this afternoon with the head of greek life @ Elon concerning expansion. I just wanted to clairfy that no one organization has been chosen yet. Voting is taking place throughout the week, and then the decision must be approved by the Dean of Students (who happens to be on vacation until next week). So, hopefully we will know something then.

Man, this is taking forever...when NCSU expanded...the three organizations came and presented with in a week...we voted the night the third presentation took place...the next morning it was announced.

Xylochick216 05-12-2004 08:48 PM

Just echoing what AXOVolley said... NOTHING has been decided yet, NO ONE has been asked, and we will NOT know anything for a week or so. I don't know where Maggie got her info, but it is wrong. The director of Greek Life explained it all to us today and we will find out soon.
