Yes but you are arguing both sides. We are only talking about the person who is not in the committed relationship.

It is one side :) - if cheating is not okay then encouraging/advocating/facilitating it is not okay.
|
Ok, well to twist it alittle bit . . the person who gets cheated with is actually a victim.
If the cheater would just keep their legs crossed they wouldn't have drawn their partner into the web of deceipt you are alluding to . . This still brings the onus back on the cheater. Quote:

I can agree to disagree with you and others who feel the same way you do. It's a free country afterall! I just don't understand why some folks are so adverse to the concept of married people taking it upon themselves to observe their wedding vows. I was taught to take responsibility for myself and my actions and not to blame others when I screw up. I've always lived by that and always will. Must be the Republican in me ;) But, like you said, neither one of us is gonna change our minds so I guess that's that :) |

If people wish to commend or condone sleeping with people married to (or in a relationship with) someone else, a lot of people will find that "unfortunate" - some might not. Those doing it either do not know the difference between right and wrong period or have long since decided to ignore it. Some people just want to seek the truth and always defend it, to act with integrity and some don't. I just think being unfaithful if you're in a relationship is not a positive thing and nor is being a homewrecker / contributor to destruction of a relationship. |

Decadence, I find your posts on this topic to be so emotional and without much sense that I am going to go out and deliberately seduce at least two women that are taken, preferably married or engaged.
And it won't be my fault, your emotionally driven obstinence will be directly responsible for the downfall of their relationships. I hope you are happy now. Quote:

Wowza! This whole topic really hits home with you, doesn't it? I am starting to realize that this particular subject is intensely personal for you. I apologize for upsetting you. Please believe whatever you need to in order to deal with whatever has happened in your life that has made you so hyper-sensitive where this subject is concerned. I'm sure it wasn't totally her fault. Some mean cheatin' person came alone and contributed to the destruction of the relationship. Really. Since you're hurting already, that's all I have to say about the subject. -30- |
