My mom sells the jelly purses. Alot of stores carry them now. If you see one you like, buy it and take it to a store that does embroidery (like a craft or fabric store), they should be able to but the letters on for you.:)

i really want to find cheer shorts in my size. also, another sweatshirt cuz mine is getting old. i'd also like a quilt of all my shirts done. i just need to find someone to do it for me at a decent rate. i also want flip flops.
basically anything really cute and unique with my letters on it. although i have to be careful figuring i'm an alumnae now and it doesn't always go over at work to have your letters on or with you. shelley j sigma k |

yeah, i really want the quilt done. i've already started cutting the shirts. i just don't have space in my drawers right now for all the shirts that i'm not wearing. i didn't even think of the legacy thing, but that is so cute. it's very expensive to have someone do it though. anywhere from $200 - $400 for a single quilt.

Also...check out bagcollege.com.
These are sorority purses that a girl's cousin in my chapter is making...she went through all the national offices and got permission to use the letters of the NPCs. She can customize it anyway you want. I saw one of them last night, and its way cute. |

If you can do the canvas ones with no zipper and those white handles, we might have ourselves a deal. ;) We just had a Chapter Retreat where all of us ordered those huge bags, just like you described and made letter bags at retreat. Theyre not hard to make...just cut out your letters and get the iron stuff. You might want to sew them though so it stays. Also you can usually take them somewhere and have them sewn on for real cheap (thats what i did...cause im a bad sewer haha) |

It seems weird, especially with MIT being so Greek heavy, and BU having its fair share of organizations as well (even if Silber doesn't like them). My problem is that I'm a rather large woman, and 2X and 3X sizes can vary so much from company to company that I'd rather try t-shirts and such on before I order them. (and not a lot of the online companies have 3X shirts). I sympathize with those of you who aren't part of the "common" national orgs.. finding stuff for Tau Beta Sigma can be extremely tough that isn't shirt related (or afghan, since we seem to get those easily?!?). I'd love a pair of flip-flops for summer. |
no greek stores in boston? hmmm.....i've been thinking about doing my own business like that, but around here they already have a place. maybe i should go move up to boston and open a store. i think i'd get some good business. i have family to live with too so i think it would work for starting up.
