Solange Knowles, the younger sister of Beyonce Knowles, got married over the weekend, but you know this… The catch is we hear that she is quite pregnant and Daddy Mathew was quick to get that wedding poppin’ asap. Dude Daniel (the college football player/ high school love) didn’t have a choice and didn’t stand a chance.

I wonder if she'll still be #4 on the Destiny's Child roster now?

Er, Soror,... don't you mean #'s 4 AND 5... ;) I pray she's not pregnant at 17, but why the heck else would she be getting married so young? NOT a good idea...

Dick Clark Sued for Age Discrimination
AP - 1 hour, 9 minutes ago
A 76-year-old game show producer sued Dick Clark Monday, alleging the 74-year-old Clark called him a "dinosaur" and refused to hire him because of his age.

Ralph Andrews, who produced the 1960s and '70s game shows "It Takes Two," "By the Numbers" and "You Don't Say," filed the suit in Superior Court.

Andrews' attorney, Phillip R. Maltin, said Clark's actions violate the Fair Employment and Housing Act, which makes it illegal for an employer "to discriminate against a person who applies for a position based upon that person's age."

The suit also names Dick Clark Productions and one of its owners, Mosaic Media Group, and seeks general and punitive damages.

Paul Shefrin, a spokesman for Dick Clark Productions, said the company does not comment on pending litigation. A message left after business hours for Mosaic Media Group was not immediately returned.

In the complaint, Andrews says he spoke off and on for more than a year with Clark and other executives about joining the company and was told he would be considered for any openings.

But when he wrote Clark to say he was interested in available positions, Clark wrote back, allegedly turning Andrews down because of his age.

"I have great respect and admiration for your accomplishments, and wish you success in your desire to 'get back to work," Clark's letter read, according to the suit.

"(But) the last development guy we hired was 27 years old. Another person who is joining our staff next week is 30. People our age are considered dinosaurs! The business is being run by 'The Next Generation.'"

Clark added, "On a brighter note, Ralph, please know that if any project comes up where we could use your experienced hands, I wouldn't hesitate to call you."

Andrews told The Associated Press he has known Clark for 40 years and hired him on several game shows, including a brief 1997 revival of "It Takes Two."

I wonder why RainMan hasn't been commenting on this! :D

If any wedding pictures of Solange's wedding are on the internet, keep your eyes out for a shotgun.

(Am I going to hell for thinking that Solange and Hubby will have a way cuter kid than B and Z?)

I was wondering the same thing.

Who is Dick Clark to tell ANYONE that they are old???? Um, no.

And why I got to go in the handbasket??? And why is CT4 cosignin' that mess?? Have you? Have you ever ONCE seen an Asian crackhead? Not even in a movie. I think that would just be comedy. Now, I might go in a handbasket for this next one. Picture it, Jungle Fever. Instead of Halle Berry, Gator's friend is Lucy Liu. She has an accent and everything. LMAO!!! Oh lawd, just imagining how an Asian would sound offering sexual favors for crack. ROTFLMAO!!!!!

Andre 3000 Wants To Attend Juilliard
Tue Mar 2,10:00 AM ET

LAUNCH Radio Networks

OutKast's Andre 3000 has already earned a Grammy Award for album of the year for his latest release, Speakerboxxx/ The Love Below, but the talented rapper recently explained that he would like to study classical music. During an interview with Rolling Stone, Andre 3000 said, "I want to go to Juilliard to study classical music. I've been thinking about it for about a year. But things got kinda busy. This record took off. I can't be in school right now. But I'm taking saxophone and clarinet lessons. I'd study classical composition and music theory. Like, now, I was working on songs for Gwen Stefani (news)'s album, and I could tell her how to sing them but not the range."

The rapper also addressed the break-up rumors that have been surrounding OutKast since the group issued its latest release. He said, "There'll be two more OutKast albums. I'm willing to accept that no matter what I do next, it may not be as big as 'Hey Ya!' or OutKast. But it's a growth thing. Paul McCartney (news) and John Lennon (news) never did anything as big as the Beatles. But they still did some cool sh-t on their own."

Next up for OutKast is the release of a new single, "Roses." The group will also begin production on a movie in May for HBO.

In the meantime, Andre 3000 is busy filming his role in the Get Shorty sequel, Be Cool. The mild-mannered rapper will play the role of a hardcore rapper in the film, which also stars John Travolta (news) and Cedric The Entertainer.

janet continues to be punished

Disney Dumps Janet Jackson-Linked Statue
(AP, 03/02/2004 8:01 PM)

The Walt Disney Co. has quietly shelved a life-size statue of Mickey Mouse inspired by singer Janet Jackson , who was roundly criticized for a risque Super Bowl halftime performance.

The 6-foot, 700-pound statue was one of 75 unveiled at Walt Disney World in Orlando last fall to celebrate the 75th birthday of Mickey Mouse. The statues were inspired by celebrities such as tennis star Andre Agassi, actress Jamie Lee Curtis and comedian Ellen DeGeneres .

The statue inspired by Jackson was clad in a tight black outfit similar to one she wore in 1990 after the release of her album, Rhythm Nation 1928. It was replaced by a spare statue designed by Luis Fernandez, an in-house Disney artist.

"Considering all the controversy it drew, we talked it over for a couple of days and decided it would be best to replace hers with a new one," Gary Foster, a Disney spokesman, told the Orlando Sentinel.

Foster didn't immediately return a phone call to The Associated Press.

Jackson's bump-and-grind performance with singer Justin Timberlake during last month's Super Bowl was capped by Timberlake ripping a piece of clothing off to reveal her breast.

Wow, why doesn't this writer just add "and good for that uppity biatch" onto this article?

Ugh. I hate the media sometimes.

The age thing makes me think of all the "caps" at summer camp. "Dick Clark is so old his SSN is 1" "Dick Clark is so old he ran track with dinos", "Dick Clark is so old he sat behind Jesus in the third grade"
The only stereotype in a movie I can think of was in the movie "Full Metal Jacket", but I don't think she was on drugs. You may remember the line from a 2LiveCrew song. I will just say this "me love you long time".

hijack/
Come to think of it the last time I saw a crackhead/whore was in Oakland at the TacoTruck over winter break. She placed her order then was working the street, it was something else. In Alaska we had crazy hookers out on the street in the cold that will work for whiskey, or are on meth. Meth is easier to make, so I think that is why there weren't any real crackwhores in Alaska.
/end hijack
