43% (Yankee). Barely into the Yankee category.

But most of my answers it said were typical Great Lakes (one even said Michigan for Devil's Night!).

(Nope, not as far as I know, but I know a Coke is a Coke for heaven sakes :D)

Haha!

Personally, I prefer Pepsi products. But everyone does look at me funny here because I say "soda." At least I don't say "pop." J/k

At one of the restaurants I worked at in college we served Pepsi products as opposed to coke products. Normally in NC (or the South), people prefer sweet tea. But anyways, one day I had this table and I was taking their drink orders. The first lady orders a Coke. I said, "Is Pepsi okay?" She looks at me like I am complete trash and says (in the most drawn-out Southern drawl you can imagine), "Pepsi? We don't drink Pepsi. We're from Georgia." Well excuse me. I was so irritated.

60% (Dixie). Barely into the Dixie category.

Aside from one summer in Texas, I've never lived outside the northeast US. However, that one summer was enough to convert me from "youse" to "y'all". :p

I was born and raised in Southern California.....my mother was from Gary, Indiana and my father is from Chicago, Illinois! I sound nothing like a "Dixie" Southerner! I am confused!

Then again, San Diego technically *is* the most south and west you can get as far as the US mainland goes.....maybe that's what they mean by "Southern"? Southern California ??

I got the same score and I was born and raised in Michigan. Even though I've lived in Louisiana and Texas for years, I haven't picked up an accent. In fact people ask me where I from because I talk slighly different then the locals

.....Kelly :)
