If I was Randi, here is what I would say to Patrick:

"Pat - if you don't support me, and want to be an a$$hole and go home - fine...just STOP drinking all my damn beer!!"

Did you notice that in every single shot, the dude was drinking beer? And that wasn't a beast can either - musta been a good Irish beer ;)

I agree - the tux stuff was funny. That was similar to what I did with my bridesmaids when we were trying on gowns - just goofing off. The dad was totally pissed off about it though.

Melanie needs to stop whining and crying - and Bobby - what a jerk when he said "I told her I'd be there, but I won't if you guys don't" -- jerk!

If Fox gives her any money from this (which I am sure there will be a consolation prize because she ain't getting the million from the previews) then I would keep it all and tell them to go jump off a bridge.

I don't know - my family doesn't always agree with stuff, and we don't always get along, but my family would support me even if they did think I was making a huge mistake. Plus, they would trust me enough to know that something was going on - even if they didn't know what, they would trust me. And we aren't even the "model" family that they think they are.

Just stuck-up "better-than-you" jerks - the whole lot of them.

I would LOVE to send a letter to the editor of their hometown paper and say "you are making yourselves look like idiots" -- wonder how many people already have!!

Oh I'd like to know how the city of Denver is reacting to this, the Coys are probably laughed at wherever they go.

I hope Fox gives them NOTHING, and Pat would live knowing that him being such a bizotch was what led to them losing money that, according to Randy, HE NEEDS THE MOST.

BTW, does this family LOOK like they NEED the money?

Last episode is tonight!

I LOVE her wedding dress!

AXJules 02-23-2004 11:13 PM

Ok this is going to be really mean, but they are some UGLY criers.

But I am really happy for them.

xok85xo 02-23-2004 11:16 PM

okay i turned it off - what happened?

AXJules 02-23-2004 11:20 PM

Steve said he couldn't say the "I Do's".....then revealed to the fam it was a fake wedding.

The Coys storm out, producer gets them to come back.

Randi explains the whole thing, the fam is not amused.

Steve outs himself as an actor, Randi is humiliated.

Steve gives 500,000 to Randi and the same amount to Coy family.

He stresses the story became about their family's love and unity, not money.

Fam gets over it and takes her back.

They show a cheesy video.

The end. :D

Great recap!
I loved this show!
I esp loved the part where Steve says to Randi, but loud enough for her family to hear. "Hey ya know what is really funny? I'm married!" :D CMTFU!!!!:D

Her dress was beautiful - and she was beautiful in it. I agree though - not very pretty criers in the group! LOL!

How funny is it that when Randi was "explaining" how she planned to use the money, Bruce said that the money wasn't worth it - yet, when they got the $500,000 each, he certainly seemed to be very happy*happy*joy*joy about everything.

Pat still wouldn't get isht from me

Go to the fox website and read the recaps - especially from last week. Don't know who wrote those, but he/she is "frickin" hilarious! Especially the coverage of the Rice Krispy treats scene.

I'm glad that Randi got her money - she deserved it - I wish that the family didn't get a dime. It wasn't about "love and unity" as a family - it was about control and power. Everybody wanted to take control of Randi's life when she told them the news. Unconditional love isn't the same as control!

I can't wait to see what Steve Bailey does next (oh yeah - I did LOVE the comment about the "I'm married" - that was funny). He is a really funny guy.

DeltaSigStan 02-24-2004 01:59 PM

Me too...I hope his career goes places now, cause he's a pretty funny guy.

MeLikey 02-24-2004 02:29 PM

I watched the last part of the finale... made me wish I had seen the rest of the season.

CrimsonTide4 02-24-2004 02:34 PM

I saw Steve on some TV dinner type of commercial over the weekend; can't remember which brand but I knew it was him.

LMAO that he is married.
