I have and it's just drama. Leave it be.

I can see maybe dating someone with child when I am in my 30s. But not now.

Ditto. I have a 6 year old and no way am I out looking for a father substitute for her (her father is very active in her life, but that's beside the point). As we get older, the chances of meeting people with children will increase.

When I was in my 20's I have dated about 2 men who already had children. It didn't bother me b/c I would think about if the shoe were on the other foot, but that's just my way of thinking. Shoot, single parents need to have fun too!!!

When you have children and are single, it is easier to date someone who already have children themselves b/c they know exactly what you go through in scheduling your time between your obligations and having time for yourself.

Been there. Dated a girl in college with a 4 year old son. I never had a problem with it.

If you ARE willing to consider this kind of relationship, take it slow and easy, and be willing to include the child in most of your dating activities. After all, if there is something there for a "long-term" relationship, the child is part of it.

Unfortunately, she ended up buckling under family pressure to go back with the father of the child. They married. Divorced six months later.

I would imagine that as long as her kid(s) don't interefere with our sex life or require me to play parent or require me to be inconvenienced its all good.
