Personally I love Kobe, but when I heard about this I was kind of shaky in my decision on if he was guilty or not.

now that the story is coming out. I feel he is not guilty.

Yes he need to be punished for his crime of cheating, but that should not be done by the courts. I believe he is living this nightmare daily with his wife. Have you seen her in the media? Girlfriend is not smiling at nothing. He is definetly catching hell at home.

As a woman myself I can't bring myself to just say she is just lying because he has money. To me her having someone else semen in her panties may be the reason she did not want to have sex with Kobe because she had recently had sex with someone. You can't just draw conclusions without looking at a situation from more than one prospective. I do not know who is lying or telling the truth. But I do not think anyone would just lie and subject themselves to all the drama of the media and the public as a whole, for fifteen minutes of fame. That is why alot of women don't go to the police when this happens.

Guilty.

For those basing their opinions on the preliminary case, the preliminary case was a bare bones case stating only enough to qualify for a trial. They will pull a rabbit or two out of their hats and crucify him during the trial. First, he doesn't her -- then, he didn't touch her -- then, he cheated on his angel -- then, his one night stand's blood was found on his shirt. The semen from the other may simply be the semen of another from a day or so; unsanitary = yes (I am one who will take a shower in the middle of the day just to change my undergarments), but that may be the why she put up such a fight where she might not normally.

Ooooh, I cannot STAND Kobe Bryant. He's ugly as homemade soap. I went to school with arrogant mo-fos just like him, however, I'm having a hard time believing he was guilty of rape. I don't know all the facts, so I'll have to make my final decision later. I will say this: He's gross for hittin' that girl BARE BACK and not knowing her from a can of beans and she's gross for puttin' on "crusty" panties. Yuck.

CTFU! CTFU! CTFU! I am going to be using that in the near future.

End of Hijack.

I really don't know about this situation. I have not formulated a solid opinion yet. I can see both sides of this situation.

First, I agree that this young girl is a skank, but being a skank and being a rape victim are not mutually exclusive. She is definitely guilty of bad judgement. If she wasn't willing to go all the way, she never should have step foot inside his hotel room. I am a firm believer in not giving a man the keys if you are not going to let him drive the car. But, bad judgement alone is not grounds for being raped, under any circumstances. I can understand how it might seem that she only cried rape for money, but I never try to pass that judgement on another woman without solid evidence.

Next, Kobe is dead wrong for cheating on his wife, but again, that may be the only thing that he did wrong. She could have easily been a willing participant. The bruises may be because she likes it rough (I have seen people who look like they've been beated like Kunta Kente and those bruises were from last night's nookie.) There could easily be explanations for all of the evidence that points to rape.

Bryant accuser considers lawsuit, lawyer says

Release of documents may spur decision on future of case

Wednesday, August 4, 2004 Posted: 2:56 PM EDT (1856 GMT)

DENVER, Colorado (AP) -- The woman who accused Kobe Bryant of rape will have to discuss with prosecutors whether she will go ahead with the criminal case because she fears the release of court documents about her sex life threatens her chance of getting a fair hearing, one of her lawyers said Wednesday.

I just read this and was about to post this story. Is she thinking about dropping because she doesn't think she can get a fair trial or because she knows that he is innocent? Things that make you go hmmm..... I know that if I was raped, whether I had a whorish past or not, I am going forward with my case.

This is getting sketchy....

And what's ironic abut this...

Is if that goes to trial, and if the Florida woman's story checks out, that SHAQ may have to testify. Just imagine -- Kobester's freedom hinges on what a man who he ran out of L.A. may have to say. I can just imagine that...the same man who Kobester called fat and trashed may hold the lil' punk's life in his hands.

Yes, I'm bitter.

Did I hear correctly that a lady has come forward saying that Kobe "touched her" at a party?

I think you're correct. I heard about it on the sports talk shows yesterday, and Kobester allegedly touched the woman at Shaquille's house. That was what I was referring to.

What happend behind close doors between two adults is generally between them.

An old lady once told me, " If you don't like what happens in the bedroom don't go back there."

As far as Rape, its her word against his. I don't see how she can prove it without sometype of obvious injury.

I mean she has less marks on her than a girl would defending herself against a mugger that is trying to steal her Louis Vitton bag.

I have been bruised and bruised my partner before. Anyone ever have sex on the floor? Rug burn can be a horrible bitch, luckily no one turned me in for rape, those burns on back, elbows, and knees might have been really damning.
