I don't know...give me a year or two of "not working" so I can be sure this is what I want to do!
I'm so jealous of my sis-in-law who doesn't work but can go down to their beach south in northern Fla. whenever she wants!:D |
Another job I'd love to have (besides the ones I posted, ie. model, NBA cheerleader, and screenwriter) is being a tour manager for a band.
|
I would like to be a Good Housekeeping tester.
|
How sad is it that I not only have no idea what I want to do for my actual career, but I don't even have any "dream" jobs that I would love to have?
|
I want Paige Davis' job on Trading Spaces.
Seriously, what does she do? She gets to buy a cute new top for every episode (once she's worn it once, she's not allowed to wear it on-air again - think of all the shopping!), she acts adorably cute and teases people, she gets her own camera, she goes and plays with each room doing fun projects (she always does the crafty ones, not the boring painting...), and she gets to hang out with cool people like Ty and Laurie and Vern day after day. Also, I think I'd be really good at it. |
You're darn right!!

i played a MMORPG that charged 10 bucks and you had to put in 5 hours a day to be DECENT...most people spend 10+ hours a day on games like this. |
I'd be a writer for National Geographic magazine...it's been my dream job since I was about 10. Getting paid to travel, find out about interesting stories, and write about it -- fun!

When I grow up, I wanna be a(n):
Law Enforcer (FBI or a field agent for another agency) Writer (Mostly novels/playwright/screen writer) |
I am 33 and finally have the job that I want. Although I can't talk about it much. Oh well, that means I will talk about my sex life instead. Nothing to say on that note either.

WAS: Tax man. What kind, I don't know. Either CPA or tax attorney. Haven't decided yet.
Damn, how plain & boring compared to the rest of you. :D NOW: Took some classes and figured out that I don't want to get an MBA or a law degree. I'm now focusing my efforts on passing the actuarial exams (the first two, anyway). If I've learned anything over the past year, it's that nothing is set in stone, but being an actuary seems to be an appropriate mix of science and business that really piques my interest. |

Ok, I admit it. I'm a closet sci/fi nerd.
I would love to work for NASA, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, or whoever else planning orbits and missions for satellites and spacecraft. I've already got my BS in physics and am going for my MS later. I haven't decided yet on the PhD (although it would likely be in Astrophysics if anything). I'll be able to complete the masters part-time while still working full-time, but I don't see that happening with the doctorate. Any kind of job that not only allows me to ask, "what if?," but gives me the opportunity to actually do something about it would be ideal. |
Nothing...I want to marry someone who will support me so I can volunteer, be active in KD alumnae association, shop, plan dinner parties, and do interior decorating!!!!
Realistically though, I don't have a clue what I am going to do... |
