There are some real closed minded people on there. I went to ECU. As we all know it is a matter of opinion. Someone directed the girl here to GC.

I love my sorority and am proud to say I am a member of it. As an alum and an adviser I try to keep up on everything. Other people can have their opinions.

That was me that directed them here, I just didn't want to put AOII in my name with all the people trash talking houses over there anyhow.

Good idea, AOII. I did mention AOPi, but did not trash anyone. I was saying that everything changes. A lot of it is a matter of opinion. Greek life changes and some who are at the so called bottom may rise to the top. She should keep an open mind.

I think that whole thread has gotten ridiculous. Alot of the sorority members posting on there where making their chapters look real good:rolleyes:

Of the 100s of women at Texas Tech, I am sure more than a few are named Suzanne, and are freshman, and for that matter, how many people are wasting their time on a site called "Party School?"

I wouldn't worry about it. She should just go through recruitment, be courteous, make some friends, not call any attention to that post and be herself. She'll get a bid. Can I tell you how many PNM's I met while I was in college who were 110% certain that they had a bid to every house and weren't afraid to tell everyone? Yes, a few chapters may have cut them due to their being obnxious at the sorority house, but I would give sorority women some credit to take a person at face value and not listen to mindless rumors or random internet posts from a clueless freshman.

What I don't understand is that there is another rush thread about Penn State sororities that was started by a girl and her posts are AT LEAST as obnoxious as Suzanne's. Yet it seems that most of the people replying to her post have been supportive.
