Quick hijack. I said earlier that Mrs. DeltAlum taught at Dublin HS. Well, she did her student teaching at Chillicothe HS the last quarter of 1970 -- which meant that when O.U. was closed after the Kent State shootings, she had to continue until the HS Summer Vacation anyway.

Of course, due to Kent State, her class never had a Commencement ceremony.

My exboyfriends mom was student teaching at that time and attended Kent State University in 70. She didn't go to her commencement, in fact I don't think she stepped foot on campus after that....except for when she snuck out to take some pictures the night it happened. I used them for a paper I did on Kent State my freshman year in college.

The weekend of October 12th I will be in Michigan because I am in a wedding!

Let's get our priorities straight here. Ask them to move the wedding.
