i was at a bonfire with my best friend....keep in mind this is the only person i know there...well someone brings out pop and asks who wants some. being the big dork that i am, i go:

"yea you said pop!!"

they all look at me and just kinda laugh and we get started on whether its pop or soda....everyone said POP...

i almost was like..."so i started this threat on gc about pop vs soda..." but then i realized how stupid i would have sounded....haha

it still and forever will be POP

Always coke....unless you're asking for Dr. Pepper. Those are the only 2 acceptable choices.

I live in MD and I have never heard anyone refer to SODA as coke...

Sorry, if you bring your ass into a restaurant and order a Coke, and you get Coke, but you wanted something else, tough! You should have asked for what you SPECIFICALLY wanted (Sprite, ginger ale, etc)!

Sorry, but that's weird...Coke = all soda?? Um, no, sorry!

Thank goodness I don't drink soda...AND IT'S SODA!!!

BTW, I'm not talking specifically to you, DZTUBAGIRL, just so you know! :)

Also, I lived in RI for 6 years...It's SODA there too!

Wow, you feel pretty strongly about this, huh?

Soda

Pop makes me laugh everytime I hear it called that. Or I think of the N'Sync song "Dirty Pop" and when Justin sings it! LOL :D
