Kappa Tau does it again!!! We matched quota and we got both of our legacies! This puts us over chapter total! Phi Mu also matched quota. The other sororities came really close and I am sure that they will have no problems with COR. Congratulations all around. :D

Hi Sisters and Friends!

Two weeks from today we begin recruitment! So far there are 860 women signed up at Ole Miss! They are expecting quota to be around 85-90! AOII is ready and we are all excited to begin recruitment and get some awesome new members! GO AOII!

We have 27 known legacies going through recruitment. 21 of them are Nu Beta legacies! We hope to recruit as many as possible! They are all wonderful women!

Also, out of those legacies, three are double legacies and one is a triple legacy. We also have 25 courtesies.

I just went and checked online, Ole Miss is using a new system called ICS Recruiter where it is all online on a secure server.

WOW!!!

Anyone else's mind blown away by actually seeing those numbers? 2-3 known legacies, maybe 5-6 once in a while, are pretty much what I'm familiar with.

Does a courtesy require an invitation to an invitational party or a call to the courtesy if the pnm is cut?

well at Ole Miss there are three rounds of rush and all PNMs are invited to the first round, and then from there there are releases. We treat a courtesy with respect, but we also realize that there are great girls with no ties or other GLO ties that might be more interested in AOII than a girl with AOII ties. We try to treat all PNMs the same way and then our legacies and courtesies might get an extra hello or hi.....overall though, most of our meeting these girls that have AOII ties goes on before rush since at Ole Miss there is no silent period until the week before rush....

I LIKE the term "courtesy"! We always use psuedo legacy when someone is a cousin of an AOTT or has an aunt, or along those lines. And that does blow my mind with 28 legacies. We had 8 one year and it was crazy!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!

Lambda Eta Recruitment total
 

The ladies of GVSU in michigan got 21 women this year in recruitment. That's three over quota of 18 and the most of any sorority on campus. It also makes lambda eta the largest chapter on campus!! As a recent alum that came to visit, I'm so proud of you ladies!!!

Congrats to ALL AOII chapters! I hope Nu Beta can keep up the tradition and pledge quota plus on October 6, 2003!
