I don't know what your problem is or why you are personally attacking me. Obviously, unlike you, I have better things to do than to monitor who posts where and give people grief.

PM_Mama00 07-18-2003 10:20 AM

justamom.... you are perhaps the coolest alum! along with carnation and Sandy (as the younger alum). Seriously I hope I still stay involved like you after I graduate! :)

Libra... the psycho thing... see we did have one... but we were called "trolls" and were told to be nice to her.

And like everyone always says... if you don't wana read the thread then why read it? Some of those peopel saying that are such hypocrites! If I see a thread that i think "ugh", "oh god", or "boring" I don't read it. It's that easy! Like some people come into Rudey's vagina thread and are bitching. For the love of God seriously... why are you reading it then? Cuz deep down inside you know you want to and you just wana be coy and pretend that you don't like reading that kind of stuff. :p

What's with everyone raining on people's parades? Our parades should be filled with happy rainbows and such. People need to stop sucking so much.

You took it as me attacking you, yet I didn't state your name in any of my posts, where did I attack you? Find something better to do than assuming I actually care to use time in "attacking you."

PM_Mama00 07-18-2003 10:25 AM

Blaine... you turn me on when you start gettin all bitchy. Oh baby. Oh baby. Oh baby.

LMAO! That made my morning!

PM Mama - LOL. Yeah that chick was crazy, I forgot about her.

Maybe THIS thread is what we need to spice up GC, lol. There is a little drama flaring up, lol. Also it seems to have us all posting, which is good.

PM_Mama00 07-18-2003 11:02 AM

Hey now Hey now, don't dream it's over.

That was taken outa context.

But F#$@ing hilarious!

justamom 07-18-2003 11:28 AM

LOL!!!! THE LAST SEVERAL POSTS ARE SO FUNNY!!!!http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmili...py/roflmao.gif

It's that easy! Like some people come into Rudey's vagina thread and are bitching.
NO one could have any illusions about THAT thread!!!

...and here I was all serious on the "coming out /gay discrimination" thread just moments ago!
Glad I made this my last stop!

aephi alum 07-18-2003 11:37 AM

33girl, you owe me a new monitor. I just ruined this one by spraying water all over it, I was laughing so hard...

Flat screen, please ;)

exactly! i've been on here for almost a year and sometimes i just read and go WTF because there are people fighting in one thread about something that was said in another thread that i didn't read/didn't want to read. what do you think htis makes us all look like? ya'll need to understand everyone has differing opinions on things and that doesn't make anyone prejudiced, racist, (insert appropriate adjective here) or just plain wrong. it makes us human.

on the other hand, there are some wonderful things on greek chat. i love how when someone is having a really hard time coping with something in their life they have the support of the GCers. I love how i got to know women in orgs that i wouldn't ordinarily ever meet, people from other places i wouldn't ordinarily talk to, and realized that women from certain orgs were not all like the ones on my campus (a very good thing). THANK YOU for that.

PM_Mama00 07-18-2003 11:44 AM

True dat my sista. Look at when I first started posting. Me and Libra were at each other's throats, but now she's like one of my fave GCers!

Personally I think everyone should take a look at Rudey's threads and posts. They're very intellectual and you can learn alot from them.

editted to add: if you'd like some entertainment, check this out
Fun

Well, this thread has gotten pretty interesting.

And, I'd like to personally thank JAM for reminding some of us how old we are.

I'll just creak back into my corner and watch now.

It was fun when you could take a topic, debate the hell out of it and STILL have an understanding of the other person's point of view. I do like a heated topic, but I'm thinking the readership is getting so young that their frame of reference and their intellectual base has not fully been developed or explored. Now, I think that was the epitome of the velvet glove! I guess I AM getting too old for this.
I really do agree with you on this point. There can be very good discussion, but sometimes, you really are afraid of getting attacked and insulted. People pull superiority stances and you just give up....

If you make a debate personal (start saying things like "Go back to school" or "You're being rude"), you lose the flow and don't want to continue.

A debate/discussion should stay on topic, and not about the person/people debating it.
