I'd expect MSNBC and FOX to really take CNN to task *if* what snopes site says is true. While it does sound too strange to be true, I haven't heard any retractions or fingers pointing. Hard to know who to believe in this case.

I was pissed before I read the other posts that said it was just a rumor so whoever made up the rumor is one sick puppy.

Even if it is a hoax, all the publicity has put the idea out there, and I don't think it will be too long before some amoral sicko decides to actually try it out.....

What I don't understand is that these women could make a thousand dollars in a night of dancing or whatnot and not risk themselves to personal injury. Now don't get me wrong...I'm not saying that women who strip are better off: I know they get kicked around and are in danger too. But my point is I'd rather (given the choice) strip than humiliate myself as PREY and get shot at. This is just WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!

This story was on my local 11 o'clock news. I still think it's a hoax.

This was on CNN again yesterday. It's an official hoax now.

Wow --- this is terrible.
I wonder if these same men partcipating in this would also pay as much money to just punch a woman with their fist? They might as well be doing that, seeing as how being hit with a paintball can leave bruising and welts (sp) on the skin. This is distrubing. I agree with the fact these mean probably have violent tendencies, because how could they not know that hitting someone's bare skin with a paintball would hurt them? |
It's a hoax! And I fell for it hook, line and sinker. I haven't felt this dumb since I thought that "Rose Red" was an actual documentary

Could be a lot worse. I guarentee you thousands of people believe that "Frat House" was a real, accurate documentary, but the creators even admitted parts of it were staged.
