--Yeah this gay guy craze is about as annoying as the black people craze of the late 90's.

What exactly was the "black people craze"?

Could you explain this a bit more because it's just leaving me  What, in the late 90s everyone had to have a black friend? And why was it annoying?

What he means, I'm guessing, is that in the 90s TV shows featuring black families/people were getting really prevelant and popular - like it was "edgy" to have a sitcom with blacks. Now, it's sort of the same way with gays.

Rudey, am I right?

Rio_Kohitsuji 07-30-2003 09:20 AM

Anyway.....

I was seriously crying when he was getting ready to propose!! But man, I still believe that guy was WAY too hot for her..I kinda didn't like her anyway..The Fab5 seemed to put a lot more effort in this one than they've done before.

One of the best lines so far, from Carson, when the long-haired guy stepped out of the dressing room: "Jesus Christ, superstar!"

I LOVE this show!

How about you reword what you said and say that YOU could not understand what I was saying. GeekyPenguin understood. Your comment sounds just a little...well I will leave it at that.

Is it me or does Ted (the food and wine guy) seem obsessed with making things into mousse?

GeoffZ 08-02-2003 10:12 PM

Hmmm, I haven't noticed the mousse thing. For anyone that's interested the guys are on the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly and there's an article about them in People.

And also Us Weekly

I just need to say how much I LOVE this show!!! Its even better on Bravo, cause its an hour long.
I got my mom hooked on it, and fully intend to get my roommates hooked when we return to school.
If I had a guy, I would want him to be made over by gay guys, its just so fun!!!

Saw it for the first time last night - where they make over a guy in preparation for proposing to his girlfriend. OMG it was hilarious!! My husband and I were ROTFL... "Was your furniture repossessed?" "Where does he shop - flea markets, garage sales?" :p But by the time we got to the romantic dinner and the proposal, we were on the edge of our seats :p

A few days ago a radio station around here ran a parody of Queer Eye called "Straight Eye for the Queer Guy" where, you guessed it, 5 straight guys visit a gay man and do a makeover.

Straight guy: "What is up with this sofa?"
Gay guy: "What's wrong with it? There's nothing in it!"
Straight guy: "EXACTLY!! Where's your remote? Where's your spare change? Where are the crumbs? ... "
