omg i will prob get flamed for this, but titanic....HELLO?!?!?! "i'll never let go, jack....i'll never let go..." COME ON, PPL!!! it was sad! if she had just moved over a few inches.....!!! lol....actually, the saddest part of that movie, that ALWAYS gets me is when the band starts to leave and go find life boats or whatever...and then the one guy stays behind and plays, and then they all come back.....oh my.....<tear>

beaches, steel magnolias, fried green tomatoes (i swear buddy got his foot out!! he did!!! everytime i have to tell myself, "he lived on to play robin, he lived on to play robin...."), little women is just sweet, gone with the wind.......when bonnie dies and mammie is givin that speech "he went out there and shot that po' pony".....and then when rhett leaves....he LEAVES.....omg....i can't handle it....just sad! :p, somersby....whoa, depressing

I forgot bout The Mask. Not Jim Carrey, but the one with Cher. Pretty depressing movie. Espcially when he died.

I also get that way with Armageddon, when Grace yells "DADDY" because she knows he's not coming back.
I cry like a FOOL when I watch Armageddon (and its counterpart, Deep Impact).

My mom died the year they released Steel Magnolias to video--my dad rented it one night, and watched it while I was out with some friends, and hid it so I wouldn't watch it (he was afraid I would be bothered). To this day I haven't seen the whole thing from start to finish!

This movie by far is the most depressing movie that I have ever seen. Watching this movie one time was enough for me. I refuse to watch it again, it's so depressing and disturbing at the same time. :(

texas*princess 06-25-2003 10:29 AM

thought of another one

Jim Carrey's "The Majestic" makes me cry towards the end when his dad dies :(

FAB*SpiceySpice 06-25-2003 12:44 PM

Some others....

I have to add:

*The Man In The Moon....it was one of Reese Witherspoon's first ever movies and it has I believe Jeremy London in it, but it could be Jason....not real sure. But this movie is just heartbreaking, even my DAD cried when he and I watched it!!!! That's when I knew it was sad, b/c my dad nevernevernevernever cries! :)
*Life As A House is a tearjerker too, don't know if anyone's mentioned that already...

The worst is even after I've seen these movies once and I know what's going to happen I cry even MORE the next time I watch them b/c I already know the bad things that are going to happen!
